We hope you're all having a wonderful time this Christmas season. To celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, we would like to share one of our favorite Christmas songs with you.
"Kasadya" is an arrangement composed by our very own Maestra Anna Tabita Abeleda-Piquero. This piece is inspired by the song "Kasadya Ning Taknaa" a Cebuano Christmas carol composed in 1933 by Vicente Rubi with lyrics by Mariano Vestil.
This particular performance was our tutti song with the Philippine Madrigal Singers from the recently concluded Paglaum sa Musika Concert -conducted by none other than the arranger herself, Ma'am Anna Tabita Piquero.
