I struggled with the first quote most of my life because I was mostly around people who just let things happen to them and I wasn't surprised when they were so depressed all the time, I have used this lesson to make my life how I want to be and remind myself daily that I am in control of my life and the negativity of the World only affects me if I let it. The idea is to realize you just need to keep working at it and reminding yourself why you are doing it. I started meditating for 2 minutes and I went to an hour but now I seem to have stopped but I’m working on getting back on the horse. The mindset shift that had the most impact on my life was the one about finding a creative option. A lot of what is happening in my situation is not binary at all, but I keep perceiving it as though it is. I have options, but they are few, and risky. If I put all my focus onto one goal for six months I could do it. The fact is I could probably do it in less time. I am going to grind until I can eat that fine CAVIAR, and then I will look back at the past and smile because I made it through my struggles and obstacles, and I am now better for it.
One idea that is part of a good, healthy mindset is to remain true to yourself no matter what happens around you. No matter if your friends are being fake, or if people are trying to pressure you to do and/say things that do not line up with your core values, no matter if people offer you this or that to “get to the next level” in life, if it’s going to involve you compromising your integrity to get there, then don’t embrace that. Stay true to who you are. Know when to stand up for what you believe in and know when to stay quiet because certain people/circumstances don’t even deserve our attention. When you are true to yourself you can sleep at night because you know no one can honestly call you fake or say that you are selling your soul for some kind of gain. Stay true to yourself so you can experience the fulfillment of purpose and achieve a great destiny.

Then as per usual you drop another 💣 and really pushing me to be the best version of myself. Personally speaking, one mindset that I have embraced has to do with realizing that my past mistakes and failures do not necessarily disqualify me from having a bright future. If anything, my mistakes and failures have helped me to learn more and more about myself. Moreover, I am reminded to not give up. As long as I am breathing, I can begin again. I can start from scratch if I must, and gain fresh perspectives on various things that a less mature version of myself might not have fully grasped or understood. Sometimes we learn more through failures and mistakes than through successes. In fact, if it wasn’t for some of my failures and misses, I would not have experienced some of my moments of success and gains.

I’m actually a natural optimist, the glass is always half full, and my mind almost always instinctually goes to “yes”, and I’ve never not believed that I could achieve anything I seriously set my mind to. I’ve never felt less smart, capable or deserving than anyone else. It’s actually been an incredibly valuable trait as an entrepreneur and founder.
I used to have rebuttals in my head about some other videos of yours last year but the more I apply these fundamentals the more I realize it’s all up to me at the end of the day and I’m going infinitely better than I would have been
For the last 7 months I've been focused on a project that has finally yielded a result. It is a mathematical research project where I wasn't supposed to succeed, according to my top haters. Yet I did succeed. Many times I hit the "Another Obstacle" situation, and now the, "Another challenge to see if I want it" is what I put in its place. If this were easy, someone else would have done it. For the next 6 months, I need to prove my results to some people in order to get this published. It means asking people, a couple of whom I know and many I do not. I'm moving forward anyway. Today's video is gold, with a glass of champagne and a plate of caviar and crackers on the side. I had already figured out that growing up as a Gen Xer hearing no most of the time made me a stronger person, however I didn't make the connection between my upbringing and my constant expectation of hearing no, thus holding me back from even asking. That's something I plan to work on going forward. 'Everything is negotiable' also hit me hard, because that is definitely a skill I need to work on, I'm usually selling myself short. Moving from 'it's impossible,' to 'if they did it, so can I' is a huge quantum leap. Thanks for the mentoring. I don't move in circles that allow me access to really successful people, so I will take any help I can get.
I have been working on a project for the last year that will open the opportunities for people to start their own business, getting out of my comfort zone was difficult, specially coming from Mexican traditional family, that manual labor and hard work is the tradition, but is being a pleasure, and the growth, and the adrenaline, and the learning, i appreciate what you guys do here, it's always refreshing knowing that i am not crazy for my standards

They were all great. The one about getting started is probably the one that has impacted me the most in the past. Sometimes the systems that you're trying to get into are convoluted in a way that seems to bar your entry though. But I'll find a way around it; I need to get to my caviar. No matter what, failure is not an option.

Caviar. Now let me tell you how one mindset shift from this video gave me a great idea. I'm operating a retail business in an area that's zoned "agricultural". I have lots of space including large empty warehouses that used to be chicken barns, where I refurbish hot tubs. Storing and refurbishing hot tubs takes up a lot of space - way more space than I could possibly afford to rent in a retail-zoned location. But where I am now, I can't hang signs, and have to be cryptic about the address on my website. I need to meet by appointment only and try to keep a low profile so that city bylaw enforcers don't shut me down. I had my eye on a place a block away that was just purchased by a new & used appliance company. #14 helped me think that I could offer to trade storage space at my place in trade for some storefront space at their location. They could store their inventory in one of my barns and I could keep working on hot tubs at the farm, but our official business location would be zoned for retail, so we could meet clients, sell product and offer services from a small space. Then we could take qualified customers down the block to the warehouse to view hot tubs. Wish me luck!

Sometimes the systems that you're trying to get into are convoluted in a way that seems to bar your entry though. But I'll find a way around it; I need to get to my caviar. Caviar. Now let me tell you how one mindset shift from this video gave me a great idea. I'm operating a retail business in an area that's zoned "agricultural". I have lots of space including large empty warehouses that used to be chicken barns, where I refurbish hot tubs. Storing and refurbishing hot tubs takes up a lot of space - way more space than I could possibly afford to rent in a retail-zoned location. But where I am now, I can't hang signs, and have to be cryptic about the address on my website. I need to meet by appointment only and try to keep a low profile so that city bylaw enforcers don't shut me down.
I had my eye on a place a block away that was just purchased by a new & used appliance company. #14 helped me think that I could offer to trade storage space at my place in trade for some storefront space at their location. They could store their inventory in one of my barns and I could keep working on hot tubs at the farm, but our official business location would be zoned for retail, so we could meet clients, sell product and offer services from a small space. Then we could take qualified customers down the block to the warehouse to view hot tubs.
