As a gardener I'd find that fisherman vest genuinely useful 🤣 It's fun seeing random things in thrift shops, trying them on and realising they're fabulous. I have to remind myself to check all the sizes as something labelled small can be the same size as something else labelled large.

You should grab a skirt from the skirt section and then use that to change in and out of pants. Little risky, maybe but it’s something to try.
I always start in the men's section. My local GW has a rack for the men's big & tall sizes and that's my favorite rack for all the oversized comfy finds. I'm 5'9" and a size 18 so I find more in the men's section than in the women's most visits.

I have a fisherman/photographer/cargo vest just like that and I love it too! Good for you for getting it...of course, you look amazing in whatEVER you wear! I have a long sleeve floor ankle length denim dress that buttons all the way and I often wear it as a duster. I love the one you found. Great haul!

With waist measurement, though it depends on the rise. Especially if one is curvy, you’re going to need a different waist measurement at 9”, 10”, 11” and 12” front rise as you curve inward towards the natural waist the higher you go. So I keep a note of those different waist/rise combos on my phone.

Measuring clothes will Never compare to trying them on- I’ve suggested this before- wear fitted yoga pants and try stuff on over em- Full Stop.

I do that a lot in stores even if they have any dreams I don’t see the point in getting all and dressed if you could spread of your clothes in your dress appropriately.

My starting section is the Men's section because the blazer/suits/jacket/coats are on one rack and easy to go through and of course quality pieces. Perfect way to end the video. I have med wash denim and blonde camel color corduroy trench and I get so many complements when I wear them out. It cool that you found one and I also like the hunter/fisherman vest, I have also picked up one but it more oversized but with all the pockets, it such a utilitarian cool look. Thanks for sharing and blessing to you and all in the days to come.

The fisherman’s vest works! First of all-it’s neutral. ANYthing in a neutral color-👍🏼. Also-the storage possibilities!!😂 One pocket- lipstick, one pocket keys, one pocket phone,one for sunglasses etc etc😂. And your puppy is adorable-what breed is she?

Ryanne, I had the exact same experience with a fisherman's vest the other day! I put it on because I wanted to test what vests look like on me, wasn't only sold on the idea of vests in general but that specific wacky fisherman's vest too!
