- Variety of Diesel Loco hauled Trains from Goa in peak monsoon. Enjoy watching trains through the lashing South West Monsoons in Goa. Konkan Railways (KR) is a virgin terrain on the West coast of India running parallel across the Arabian Sea from Roha in Maharashtra to Thokur in Karnataka and passes through the tiny state of Goa. The KR on one side bordered by the Western Ghats and the other side bordered by the Arabian Sea thus making the terrain extremely scenic. The complete stretch is un-electrified and all trains passing through the 736 km (457.33 mi) Single Railway line are powered by Diesel Locomotives. Madgaon is a major Junction on the Konkan belt where the South Western Railway line runs parallel to the KR line for a short distance from Madgaon to Majorda and northwards the tracks deviate towards Vasco and Mumbai and Southwards the tracks deviate towards Hubli and Mangalore.
Suravali is a small passenger halt station soon after Madgoan where both the SWR and KR lines run parallel. The station is covered by the rich green Trees giving it a very natural look.All the trains in this video are captured from this beautiful station.

The rain always adds to a train video, in my view. Nice, green surroundings and screaming diesels, ALCO's and EMD's were always known for ''heavy drinking, smoking and screaming'' and us rail enthusiasts like it! Greetings from Athens, Greece!

It resembles the Saptagiri livery which had a darker Yellow shade, but this is a common color scheme found on Local trains.
