You know that metal is a supreme genre of music when it can transcend even it's principal instruments such as guitars, basses etc.
This song always sends shivers down my spine. The atmosphere is just so amazing and eerie at the same time. Van Canto has done a great cover.
I love it that the drums cannot be replaced but guitars, keyboards, bass, and vocals can.

love these guys. its obvious that they are having a great time doing all of this stuff, and if you just listen to it with an open mind, its actually pretty amazing the range of musical tones they are able to achieve simple with their voices. even the lead singer has a great voice, his metallica covers, while the guitar voices are a bit cheesy i admit, his voice in particular sounds a lot like James Hetfield, and its pretty amazing that he can imitate so many different bands pretty well. definitely getting a good vibe from these guys

why do people keep saying this song is better than the original? I think we all know they are two totally different songs, and therefore cannot be compared, they're both awesome in their own way.

In this she just fills out the chorus because she's one of the best Sopranos in metal right now. She rivals Tarja with her power when she sings classically, but she has much more versatility. Listen to The Mission, Seller of Souls, or even their Wishmaster cover. They do some songs where it's all her prolly to balance out the fact they cover a lot of male heavy vocals.
