True. Motorcycle is a whole different beast to a fighter jet and HUD helmet, although very useful and perhaps even necessary to fighter pilots who have enough time to process that information, is extremely distracting to motorcycle riders who have seconds to make their decisions in traffic surrounded by dozens of objects both moving and stationary at any given time.

First of all, humans are not even capable of processing information and reacting to it that fast, they're not computers. It's actually somewhere between 200ms and 300ms and that's if they know what they're doing or looking at. Simple and unavoidable fact. Btw we're not talking about muscle memory here, we're talking about HUD information that needs to be understood and processed first.
Second, no one in their right mind would put $120+ million aircraft into situations where 100ms decide whether a mission is successful or not, potentially risking losing that aircraft. Regardless of what you've seen in Top Gun.

"Riding a motorcycle is a visceral, tactile, cognitive rich experience. As a rider, when you earn the trust and respect of your motorcycle and vice versa, it becomes an extension of your senses, and seemingly your very being."
I can definitely state, sadly, that I have never earned the trust or respect of my motorcycle. In fact, despite our many years together I still find it hiding in the corner, shaking with fear, and have to gently coax it with premium grade oil out of the garage before it will allow me to ride.
Before anyone asks, no, I have never abused my bike. But I bought it second hand, so who knows what horrors it may have endured at the hands of its first owner. With this in mind, I have arranged for us to see a Suzuki certified therapist. Hopefully, it will prove successful, and neither of us will have to be put down.

It's customer service also worked as I was a to get a replacement after first one stopped working in the rain. It had cold weather issues and the stupid battery door was a pain. But customer service handled issues. The device worked and worked great. The thumb controller provided hands on the bar control without the need to play around with device itself while riding.
Fast forward to company failing to secure distribution of units, running out of money and well closing doors. The device continued to work though, issues and all. Until something weird happen and Nuviz would display update required and try to call the mothers hip. As it turns out Nuviz used a proprietary mapping software and when hard programmed license code expired, boom it went. Because of the way it was built, expired license would prevent entire startup rendering all of its features useless.

I bought the first version of the Forcite MK 1 FE and have to say it’s been awesome. Their service is great. The camera takes HD footage that’s certainly good enough for social media, the nav works well - handy for when you don’t want your phone mounted and the speakers are great for listening to music on those long Highway rides. I’ve even taken work calls using MS Teams. I couldn’t go back to a normal helmet.

Another thing: One thing Fortnine didn't point out about the Forcite is the control module that comes with it. The control module is a small bluetooth device that bolts to your handlebars or wherever, and it has tactile buttons to control things like volume, camera on/off, phone calls and a couple others. It works really well, and is a far better solution than trying fumble for these features on a side-mounted device with a gloved hand. Also, while the app is necessary for some functions, you can connect without the app or the module (I sometimes forget to turn it on), but some features are limited. For example, your helmet will connect straight to your phone without the module or app running, and you can still use Google Maps, listen to music, etc.

@@rajkishore95 yet again you are unaware of basic facts: Nothing is free, and YT isn’t “free” just because it’s simply there to use.
You either have to endure an increasing amount and duration of unskippable YT ads (where F9 is thankfully still applying the minimal setting it seems) - or - you have to pay an ungodly amount of monthly “Premium” extortion money to be somewhat ad-free… only to be urged to watch commercial segments as embedded sponsoring yet AGAIN.
If this continues, I will unsubscribe and block the channel. It’s a matter of principle.
Edit: FortNine used to be just an obscure and cool channel. But with the fame came the money, with the money came the greed, with the greed came the inflated ego.
Usually a clear red flag that one has reached creative pinnacle

I have a Founders edition Forcite. The support is exceptional. I like it more each time I use it. When my son in law rides his noisy harley in front of me I just touch the handle bar controller and drown him out with my favorite tunes. I'll buy another when its time to replace it.

I ride a FJ-09 (Called a Tracer 900 these days) with a fairly tall Vstream windscreen. I'd love to see a projection HUD that displays on the windscreen. Way more useable real estate, and I don't think my eyes could focus on an image centimeters from my eye. They already make them for cars. It shouldn't be too much of a stretch to make one for a bike's windscreen.

I got into a motorcycle accident on Sept 16th and broke both my arms. Riding gear definitely helps! Im glad I was wearing a helmet and riding jacket. Unfortunately I didn't have a dash cam, so the person who caused the accident didn't stop and just drove away. This channel is always so entertaining. I will be in the market for a new helmet hopefully next summer. Thanks for the info!

Two things: 1. If Ryan is flogging a product for a sponsor you can bet its is objectively good and worthy of you interest, and 2. Awesome break down of how to assess an investment be it in a product or stocks in a company. Suck it Skully, ya con artists.

I've actually tried on the Forcite helmet at a pre launch meet in Adelaide, South Oz (that's my z fold phone with their app running in their pictures). I came very close to ordering one, it was very comfortable on my egg head WITH the premium liner and the app seemed to work well. But, they don't yet have a modular option so I went with a neotec instead. Maybe in a few more years a modular will be an option and I would happily cough up the cash.

If your referring to the picture of the video feed on the phone, that is my Fold 3 and my Founders Edition helmet (note the gold logo over the silver, it is even my S1000RR in the video) This was taken on the Customer Ride day here in Sydney where they gave each person the new Media Cable. This can be backed by the video they released from the ride.
