  • This is an instructional video on how to derestrict your scooter for off-road use
    Not every scooter is the same so do so at your own risk
    I hope this video can help anyone trying to do this
    Also works on the solar p1 pro with the same display 👍

    Great video champ. I've never come across other scooters with these grey cables. Normally just have to update the P settings. Are those grey cables common amongst other scooters?

      I haven't seen them before but I haven't worked on many scooters

    You don't need to but the wires. Jst change in the settings to 100

      If it has been derestricted that works
      But it makes no difference if it hasn't yet unfortunately.
      It would definitely make things easier

      As far as I know it's any with this display
      The scooter is a vyron
      It's the same as the dragon raptor

    does this damage the battery?

    • @The-Stranga
      @The-Stranga  Před rokem

      It shouldn't as it's quite a large battery and the batterys bms should always protect from too high discharge
      But that being said the harder you are on something the shorter it's life

    Hey buddy, im in the UK and own a Solar P1 Pro (like kugoo g booster etc), i have this display but my O settings are different. Will cutting these work for my scooter? Im limited to 19kph currently and its ANNOYING

    • @The-Stranga
      @The-Stranga  Před 8 měsíci +1

      Sorry but I have no idea
      You could always try it and see if it does and if it doesn't then re solder it
      It's unlikely to break anything
      But it's still a possibility

      @@The-Stranga thank you, i managed to cut my brown and black wire, which is the EU limiter. Im now comfortably doing 52mph!!!

  • @itsmanlikehark3203

    What wattage was your motor and also if you wanted to add your own limit to prevent burning out the motor is that possible

    • @The-Stranga
      @The-Stranga  Před rokem +1

      They have dual 1000w motors with a peak of 1600w each
      In my opinion the motors seem to not get super hot
      I don't think it would be easy to put a limiter on it but I think the controller would burn up before the motor although there's probably a temp sensor in the controller
      But if we're riding super steep long hills I just touch to motor with the back of my hand to gauge how it's doing
      But when in dual there both working half as hard so they seem to not get so hot 👌🏼

      @@The-Stranga this!!!!!!!! Many people assume the single motor mode doesnt drain more power but it does. I can tell you after various test rides in all modes with and withoutnoower start and in both single and dual modes.
      DO NOT ISE ECO MODE! It’s essentially a limp home mode that draaaaiiinnnnnnns the battery! So does using single motor mode

    Does this damage your battery ?

    • @The-Stranga
      @The-Stranga  Před rokem

      No it shouldn’t as the bms should protect it
      How ever the harder you push something the more strain it’s under so if your flooring it all the time all components will mostly ware quicker
