Hades Ending, Credits and Post Credits.

- I have to say this was NOT what I was expecting when I reached the surface.
Also Shout out to my friend Pr0xy25 who introduced me to this game and got his name in the credits as a Beta tester.
Not gonna lie. When Hades lets you go, I thought I was being set up.

This game is masterpiece. Definitely GOTY for me. When the ending song kicks in, the feel..its been so long since a game can provide that.

The credits roll in this game is just such a triumphant moment. The way that they list essentially the entire studio that made the game on the same page is so cool: it's like it's saying that this game was the effort of this group of people putting their heart and soul into this project rather than just the efforts of a single director, and their combined effort really shows. Not to mention what is arguably the best song in the game

I get the feeling that Zag would be happy with any Fate that could be boiled down to the phrase "frustrating Father."

assuming charon is just constantly rowing with no stops the styx is really weird
Elysium shows the River Lethe which is described in Greek myth as running through the fields of Elysium. Drinking from it (or maybe bathing in it, can't remember) wipes your memory. There's a couple lines of dialogue from Patroclus that can come up when you enter his room before reuniting him w Achilles where he alludes to thinking about using the river to wipe away the painful memory of his death
@@Whitsoxrule1 I remember reading Percy Jackson when I was younger, and that even just a touch of it is enough for the memory wipe to take effect.
Could you imagine if there was a short line just for this last run that triggers when you catch a fish while he’s there?
“Didn’t I tell you to go?”
“I thought I hired a shade to cook my dinner…”
“Ha. Only a [insert fish]?”
“You better take care of your new pet”
“Cerberus and your new pet won’t get along”
Etc.
This game is fucking hard to finish.

I was pretty pissed that hades didn’t let me fight him. I had a pretty interesting build and the ending was so anticlimactic

Same, I think I had my strongest build and I really wanted to whoop his ass
Form me it worked like a charm. I was on a 5 victory streak, but the 6th run was awful, a pretty interesting build squandered by a Duo boon between Demeter and Aphrodite that really killed my Cast and it made my time in the Temple a pain in the ass, took 1 Death Defiance and almost a second one, out of three. So I was pretty pissed going in to battle Hades, resigned that I was about to get schooled. But no, he just let me go. It was great
For me it was the complete oposite, I had a terrible build that. I literally said "I don't want to fight you" just before the gates opened, guess my pray was heard
@@peibolthegreatnpowerful SAME!!! I had the same Demeter/Aphrodite duo cast boon and I was not looking forward to fighting Hades, so it was welcome on my end!

I was so surprised with this ending, thought I was going to run for my mom indefinitely
Due to Zagreus’ new job of escaping the underworld I would like to give him an epithet, pheugus, derived from the Ancient Greek word pheugō which means “to flee” in other words, Zagreus pheugus meaning Zagreus “escaper”
