Yes, please do more speaker reviews! Thanks for your opinion on these. I’ve been considering these as a replacement for my old Klipsch Promedia desktop setup.

My impressions of the of the YU4 passive speakers are my in line with Andrew Robinson's impressions of the larger version. I don't feel like I'm missing anything. There isn't much depth to the soundstage, but the width is good. The sound is detailed with good separation and I'm happy with the tonal quality. I'm using a Keces E40 amp to drive it which is class A/AB. Andrew mostly used class AB amps for his review. What amps were used for this review?

Just goes to show how we all have different ears. I did not find them shouty at all, did not hear forward mid-range at all, did hear very good detailed bass that extended only a little less than my Klipsch 600mii's. Also hear very clear detailed airy highs. I'm driving them with a Cambridge Audio AXA35 amp. These speakers are replacing my 600mii's because I hear so much more out of them than the 600's.

I’m really enjoying the Alesis Elevate, but they are a bit larger.
