That's what I want in my life. An enemies to lovers story, straight out of a romance novel. I want us to meet at university (oxford to be specific. I'm an A grade student), I find my match. Both competitive as hell, sort of messed up inside, share alot of hobbies in common but we're both too stubborn to admit it to eachother or even ourselves. Like Paris and rory but more than best friends.
This is pretty much how my husband and I met. We were in law school together and argued constantly before, during and after classes and one day he asked me out. It was one hell of a whirlwind full of adventure, passion and jumping fences in ball gowns and high heels to escape the boredom of law ball to ride on a Ferris Wheel under the moonlight.

His eyes met mine as I felt the thrilling contact in my bones. Pure hate reflected in them, the burning desire just to slit my throat but the chains of fidelity towards the authority restrained him. He leans forward, the tips of our noses brush against each other as I part my mouth a little to control my breathing. "You think you're superior?" A mirage of a scowl at the corner of his lips. His green eyes looked through me. "No. I'm not superior." I speak. "I'm brave." "You're playing a risky game and you're not aware of the consequences." He mutters. I let out a small laugh, provoking him further as his grip tightens around the knife and I felt the slightest pinch against my neck. "You're not strong enough to survive the storm, darling." He whispers into my ear. "I don't have to be, cuz I am the storm." I whisper. "Go ahead then, paint me as a villain in your story." He speaks before gliding the dagger on my skin smoothly. "Because I'll gladly be the one to end you." A subtle challenge comes onto me, a smile curling up the corner of my lips. "You can't end me. I'VE NEVER DONE A POV BEFORE BUT HERE GOES NOTHING pov: the lights were dim, dark but enough to see everyone gracefully dancing in the moonlight. The ballroom was filled with tension so heavy it was almost hard to breathe. "we're in." you and your men make a entrance through the glass doors almost as tall as the ceiling. Walking through the crowd with a dark red dress dragging behind you as you walked. Black roses reflecting the light off of you as you were breath taking yet so elegant to the eye. Everyone was watching you,but you were watching him. Why out of all people he was here. Your target. A long lost friend. A traitor. But yet you'd do anything for him, all he needed to Do was ask. "miss me that much kitten?" the arrogance in this mans voice made you frustrated. But yet made you submissive. "I'm being professional." trying to stay in your place as you could feel him towering over you. "if you really wanted to see me again kitten you could've just asked-" "I'm here to kill you" you cut him off. You wanted to make your point known. Huge windows with the most beautiful curtains. Admiring the room you get cut off by the slam of doors behind you. "stop" a demanding order from him and considering the position you were in, it was attractive. He leans down closer towards your exposed collar bone sending shivers throughout your whole body. Choked up in the moment you gently hold the side of his face meeting lips with one another. Feeling his smile through the kiss he takes that as a yes. Picking you up and lowering you on the bed made you realise how much you really love this man. He was your everything. You'd kill anyone for him. You'd forgive him in a heartbeat. For all these years of waiting you were desperate for this moment. The adrenaline coursing through your veins. The moonlight shining through the windows highlighting the both of you as you were sharing this moment like it was the last. Tracing his hands everywhere on your body you couldn't help but let out moans. Running your hands through his silk like hair. the scratching, markings your left on his back. Whimpering to his touch. The sweet nothings he was whispering into your ear. Words rolling onto his tounge and flowing out of his lips. "I love you"... The Silence was loud.. "Don't you love me? " you ask him hoping for the answer you want to hear. You look up desperately trying to meet eyes with his. He places a kiss on your forehead. Nothing but pain throughout your whole body, Aching. Tears streaming down your face as you realised what he's just done. You look down in shock. A dagger piercing in your stomach. Blood quickly filled up the white silk like bed sheets as you realised he's reached up along your thigh and found your dagger. The one made to kill him and only him. Only to be lying in bed slowly dying by the man himself. "I'm sorry mi amor" he says as he leaves you there. Your last moments seeing this man walk away into the dark and out the door. You laid there, the wind slowly seeping though the windows ruffling the bed sheets and what was left of your dress. The night was silent. After being so tense, I completely melted against him as he cupped my face. My fists still gripped his shirt as he molded our mouths together. But he pulled away all too soon. Okay so this was something that happened to me (english isn’t my 1st language) hope you enjoy I transferred into new school during the start of my freshmen year ,i was totally dressed up nerdy with big glasses on and a mask on my face (covid time lol) i didn’t wanted to be a center of attention which i desired in my previous school or in my past because i was bullied by my seniors. It was my first day and guess what i was late our schools opened in December after lockdown and it was really cold, my teacher told me not to repeat the mistake again and asked me to sit on the first bench and he was sitting just behind me . We never talked although he tried to come closer to me yet i tried to act innocent because for some reasons i hated boys, more specifically i didn’t trusted boys. 1 month in the school and he used to sit next to we had different seat though, he tried to talk to me and i just replied shyly (i don’t know since when did i became this shy with guys) he would talk to me during lunch break or even sit there and everyday after the school was over, he used to walk me to my home . We had an argument in our biology class when he accused me for cheating in a test which was randomly given by our teacher and we didn’t said a word to eachother for like 2 months until he approached me and apologised for his behaviour, everything got normal and our final exam started in march, it was the last day of our exam after which we had a 15 days holiday before moving in our sophomore year and it was the day he tried to confess me he eventually said “ actually i think you will understand but you make me feel so different “ i tried playing dumb i said “ what do you mean “ he proceeded by saying “ i like you a lot ,you make me feel something i can’t describe “ it happened ,the thing i feared a lot he confessed to me it’s not as if i didn’t like him but rather I’m not into dating and all. I told him that i don’t feel the same and I’m not comfortable with such things. We didn’t talked for 6 months as online classes started again. We went to school in august again ,i was embarrassed about how I’ll face him again, for first few days we avoided recognising each other’s presence but then again he approached me and started talking as if he never said those words to me. This time he would literally ghost me anytime for no reason and we still do that but even if are not talking to eachother he makes sure no boy other then him gets close to me he’s very possessive even though we both are nothing he didn’t let me talk to my guy best friend and our friendship ended ,he’s very controlling, he saved me from being stalked but idk what i feel for him, i don’t like him but i don’t hate him either, he does bad things and is a kind of bad boy who’s family is messed up he once told me about his relationship with his parents and i wanted to comfort him but that would make him think that i like him whereas i honestly don’t have any such feelings for him. He said he will wait for me for 1 more year . Can y’all suggest what should i do?
Now that's a complicated situation you are in xp I don't really have an advice except for the fact that I am proud of you for explaining to him that you do not see him in the way he does. Boys are possessive , I believe it's in their Y chromosome personally but there is a limit , there are boundaries. He is not the one to decide who you should talk to and who no. I am relieved that he saved you from stalking and I can see that he cares about you but as long as you don't develop sentimental feelings for him in the same way as he has to you , he needs to accept it.

lol enemues to lovers was the only thing that has happened to me. So it started when there was a new kid transferring into our class, and the teacher sat him across from me and 2 of my friends. You see i was the quiet kid until i got comfy with them, and he was very extroverted so it didnt make sense for us to become friends because we're opposites.
so one day he just randomly started taking my seat before me, and when i confronted him he said. ''I want to sit by your friend and not see your face.'' so i gave him a fake smile and walked over to one of my other friends table, and the friend he wanted go sit next to followed. and so our class began and i could feel his cold death glare setting apon me. and was i called it, he was staring at me, and he quickly looked down at his paper.
The next day in the same class i walked in an guess what i saw. him sitting at the table i sat at yesterday, and so me being curious i asked why he was there. ''I couldn't see the board.'' and he smiled at me innocently. i just nod annoyed and walked by my orignal desk, which pissed him off. you could tell in his beedy little eyes.
And so the bickering continued. for half of the school year it kept going on and on.
A couple months later we were in maths, and i was just doing my work alone because i couldn't be bothered the day. Thats when the embarassment was about to start.
The Class clown who was friends with whatever that thing was, started to stand up and look at me. thats when he yelled across the class.

There you are sitting on a barstool at the usual bar you go to on Saturdays. You slam down the Irish bomb you just drank and sigh. You call the bartender who probably knows you better than your family by now.
"Another glass please." you request. He shook his head and refuses.
Instead, he opened the fridge and brought you a bottle of water. "Here, drink this and sober up before you go." You smiled and drank it.
As the bar got busier you decide to leave before it becomes too crowded. You walk towards the exit but don't realize where you were going.
In the middle of the dartboard area.
Without realizing it, a dart has already grazed your ear. The only thing you heard was the shouts of the players.
"HEY WATCH IT!" a player said. He huffed as he fixed his black striped dress shirt. As he walked closer to you, You noticed the piercing in his eyebrow and the intimidating look in his eyes. You don't know if it's the alcohol in your blood but goddamn you were trapped in his aura.
You look at him in the eye and got even closer. "Well, why don't you watch where you're throwing pretty boy?" You laugh a little before leaving the bar. You thought to yourself how much of an asshole he is as you put pressure on your wounded ear.
Little did you know he was going to be a regular customer there too.

His hands gripped my arms tightly, pinning them to my sides. My chest still heaving from panic that only started to still as I stared into those muddy brown eyes. He offered that stupid soft smile of his that made my knees nearly buckle.
"What do we do?" I whispered when we heard the stomp of horses approaching.
He pulled me close, hiding us in the curve of a tree trunk as hooves thundered past.
I clung to him like a child. I hated how weak I'd become around him. So dependant on the one I'd been so desperately trying to be rid of. What had happened to me?
When it quieted, I swallowed hard, before feeling a hand on my cheek. His warmth nearly burned as he made me look up at him again.
"It's alright. Deep breaths." He murmured as I tried to breath.
"I hate this."
"I know. But you need to stay calm, Queenie." I snorted with a grimace at his stupid nickname.
A smile teased his lips before he pulled me just a bit closer.
I hate how relaxing it was. After being so tense, I completely melted against him as he cupped my face.
My fists still gripped his shirt as he molded our mouths together. But he pulled away all too soon.
My lips growing cold as my eyes opened to see that face. The one I hated most. The one that meant, he was about to do something stupid.
"Deep breaths, Queenie. It'll be alright."
I shook my head, but he turned us around so I was closer to the trunk. He detangled my hands from his shirt and let go of me. Then he was gone, running off down the road, drawing them off.
I wanted to go after him, even though I knew it would defeat the whole purpose of his sacrifice. But whether I wanted to or not, my body froze where it was. Only breaking from the trance when I heard the shots of guns.
My body flinched as if the bullets had torn through me instead, and I fell to my knees.
I wish they had.

Okay so this was something that happened to me (english isn’t my 1st language) hope you enjoy
I transferred into new school during the start of my freshmen year ,i was totally dressed up nerdy with big glasses on and a mask on my face (covid time lol) i didn’t wanted to be a center of attention which i desired in my previous school or in my past because i was bullied by my seniors. It was my first day and guess what i was late our schools opened in December after lockdown and it was really cold, my teacher told me not to repeat the mistake again and asked me to sit on the first bench and he was sitting just behind me . We never talked although he tried to come closer to me yet i tried to act innocent because for some reasons i hated boys, more specifically i didn’t trusted boys. 1 month in the school and he used to sit next to we had different seat though, he tried to talk to me and i just replied shyly (i don’t know since when did i became this shy with guys) he would talk to me during lunch break or even sit there and everyday after the school was over, he used to walk me to my home . We had an argument in our biology class when he accused me for cheating in a test which was randomly given by our teacher and we didn’t said a word to eachother for like 2 months until he approached me and apologised for his behaviour, everything got normal and our final exam started in march, it was the last day of our exam after which we had a 15 days holiday before moving in our sophomore year and it was the day he tried to confess me he eventually said “ actually i think you will understand but you make me feel so different “ i tried playing dumb i said “ what do you mean “ he proceeded by saying “ i like you a lot ,you make me feel something i can’t describe “ it happened ,the thing i feared a lot he confessed to me it’s not as if i didn’t like him but rather I’m not into dating and all. I told him that i don’t feel the same and I’m not comfortable with such things. We didn’t talked for 6 months as online classes started again. We went to school in august again ,i was embarrassed about how I’ll face him again, for first few days we avoided recognising each other’s presence but then again he approached me and started talking as if he never said those words to me. This time he would literally ghost me anytime for no reason and we still do that but even if are not talking to eachother he makes sure no boy other then him gets close to me he’s very possessive even though we both are nothing he didn’t let me talk to my guy best friend and our friendship ended ,he’s very controlling, he saved me from being stalked but idk what i feel for him, i don’t like him but i don’t hate him either, he does bad things and is a kind of bad boy who’s family is messed up he once told me about his relationship with his parents and i wanted to comfort him but that would make him think that i like him whereas i honestly don’t have any such feelings for him. He said he will wait for me for 1 more year . Can y’all suggest what should i do?

I don't really have an advice except for the fact that I am proud of you for explaining to him that you do not see him in the way he does. Boys are possessive , I believe it's in their Y chromosome personally but there is a limit , there are boundaries. He is not the one to decide who you should talk to and who no. I am relieved that he saved you from stalking and I can see that he cares about you but as long as you don't develop sentimental feelings for him in the same way as he has to you , he needs to accept it.

It was Tuesday morning...ugh how I hate Tuesdays. I have Physical Education the first period and that can only mean one thing...I get to see my enemy for 45 minutes. Please kill me right here, right now. Noah has been my rival, my 'enemy' as I tend to call him, for the past 4 years. I don't know why but he never liked me. He always used to call me funny names, let me bad notes in my locker, made fun of me...but I have to admit, I did the same. He always needs a taste of his own medicine. This year, my only classes with him are Physical Education and Chemistry. I got up from bed, wore my athletic clothes and walked to school. When my lesson started, the teacher put us in groups of 4 to speed run.
"Alright class. Listen carefully. I won't say it twice. These are your groups..." She began calling out names and I didn't really pay attention until I heard my group.
"Y/n, Claire, Liam and Noah." Holy shit, you've got to be kidding me. Noah?! Out of all these 26 shit bags around me, Noah is on of the people in my group? What have I even done to the universe?!
I groaned as I stood up and got ready to run. All 4 of us kneeled down and took our positions. Of course Noah came next to me and started talking shit.
"I would love to see your face after I come first." He smirked.
"I'm not letting this happen." I smirked back and then the teacher whistled.
Liam and Claire are not so fast so they stayed behind while me and Noah were shoulder to shoulder. We seemed to be the same fast but I run more to outrun me.
"Not today Y/n!" Nah yelled and run next to me. He put his arm out and made me hit my chest against it making me stop and cough. That bastard. After a few seconds I run again. I Have to win this. My feet moved so fast and adrenaline was soon taking the best of me. That was it! I won!
"Seems like I'm not as slow as you expected me to be huh?" I smirked as I breathed in and out like crazy.
"It's not over Y/n." Noah glared at me and left.
I went to the girl's changing rooms and thankfully I was the only one. All the others went straight to their classes. I was ready to unpack when I saw a figure standing in the doorway.
"You'll pay for that." Ugh, Noah again.
"Oh no, did I humiliate you in front of 24 people? Oh wait, there's the teacher too. Make that 25." I smiled innocently and turned back to unpacking. I heard him growl and then I was pinned against the lockers.
"Stop playing these games!" He shouted in my face.
"Did you ever stop? I don't think so. I suggest that you leave before we brake into a fight again." I warned him, glaring into his big grey eyes.
"Who do you think you are?" He asked me, his face inches away from mine.
"Huh, that's funny. I could ask you the same thing."
"STOP DOING THAT!" he shouted.
"I did nothing!" I raised my voice.
"I SAID STOP!!"
"DOING WHAT! STOP DOING WHAT?!" I yelled back.
"THAT! DRIVING ME CRAZY! YOU DRIVE ME CRAZY AND IT MAKES ME INSANE!"
I froze. What did he just say?!
"NOTHING OF THIS WOULD HAVE HAPPENED IF YOU DIDN'T START HATING ME 4 YEARS AGO! WHAT DID I EVER DO TO YOU?!"
"SHUT UP!" His grip on my hands tightened and he pushed me harder against the lockers.
"WHY?! BECAUSE YOU KNOW I'M RIGHT?! ADMIT IT! ADMIT SOMETHING FOR ONCE IN YOUR PITTY LIFE! HOW HARD IS IT FOR YOU TO-" He kissed me. NOAH.KISSED.ME. This can't be happening. But all my anger slowly turned into lust. I kissed him back and we started making out passionately. I pulled his hair with my hand while he got my thigh up next to his.
"God I hate you so much." He whispered, leaning hos forehead against mine.
"The feelings are mutual." I whispered back before he attacked me again with kisses...
