Shooting Foxes @ the Dairy Farm

  • Out tonight shooting foxes @ a local dairy. The farmer called to say there's a few foxes hanging around the poddy calf paddock. These foxes annoy the mothers as they are in labor. Foxes sometimes chew off the lips, nose and tongue of the little calf while it's being born.
Due to the property being too wet to drive around. I positioned myself on a hill overlooking the poddy calf pen. Ended up being quite productive with 6 foxes being dispatched in a couple of hours.

@@RJMHuntingAustralia sadly, we in the USA are still trying to convince state legislatures to let us clean up our feral cat problems. Some of them have been a little receptive, but the animal rights folks would rather a million native birds get eaten rather than see one feral, escaped kitty cat be harmed. But they seem to forget that here, we have natural predators who aren't concerned with quick, clean kills. It only takes one time hearing a cat scream as it gets ripped apart by a pack of coyotes to realize that's a horrible way to die. Maybe I should go out into the desert near my home and set up a hide, but with a microphone. Let them hear how savage nature is compared to a hunter.
