If I showed up for a televised questioning and saw Elizabeth Warren sitting across from me, I'd probably literally crap myself.

Senator Warren is outstanding! 110% outstanding! She makes me proud. She is not just a Senator for Massachusetts, rather she is a Senator for all Americans who care about fairness and the common good.

LOL! They should be scared after the way they were embarrassed in her first meeting when none of them could tell her when they last took a bank to trial.

Did you see the video from her 1st meeting? She asked when was the last time they took a bank to trial and none of them could answer her question. How can you expect those seats to be full after an embarrassment like that?

Why on earth would the market correct itself if nothing is done to demonstrate that the financial institutes are not too big to fail. The is the whole point to Sen. Warren's questioning, there has been nothing to dissuade investors. In the mean time the financial institutes are making bank on it. Additionally, investors are seeing the Fed providing free money to them that smaller banks are not getting. Seems like a highly pertinent point to me.

You have to be joking. She understands too well-Bernanke and his ilk hate it when someone sees through the smoke and mirrors.

As a Ron Paul / Dennis Kucinich supporter, I am very enthused about what I am seeing in Warren. And I think she has what it takes to be taken more seriously.

These are some good questions, and it's refreshing to hear a politician continue to press the matter when Bernanke is obviously uncomfortable. The void left by Ron Paul and Dennis Kucinich will be a hard one to fill, but hopefully the few, seemingly genuine members of Congress will stand in the gap. Maybe Warren will be one of them.

The big banks are getting a hand out every year from the tax payer. That may be incorrect market expectations, but the market generally prices share values genuinely. Also the financial assistance to the large financial institutions is very real, and this is damaging smaller businesses.
If on the other hand, the market has got things wrong and the bailout expectation is incorrect, you can't really then trust the market to "self-correct" accurately. Warren sees things clearer than you do.

The economy is getting ready to fall down in the next 5 years.
If she became president, the banking crooks would claim she was the cause of the collapse. The reality is banking crooks are the cause of the 2008 collapse which will resume its course once the money printing & debt binging is over.
I'd rather she come in AFTER the collapse has occurred so she can prosecute those crooks.

I fear if she became president right at around the time the economy was ready to collapse (which I think is in the next 5 years), the banking goons would pin the collapse on her.
The reality is Bernanke wrecked the economy and that legacy should be his, not hers.
