I just ordered 4 of the 4515s. Definitely using SMD terminals in the box. I loved my last one, they were the copper ones. Only problem was the plastic was too soft so the copper lug became lose. I heard this problem was fixed and new material was used.
Glad to see someone prove that these subs are under rated. I have the sub on a stetsom 8k and couldn't be happier.
I deliver for FedEx home delivery and I delivered 2 of this exact sub to a guy that is putting 8 of these in a 03 Tahoe on 40k that truck is going to be insane

A skar or down for sound amp and 1/0 sub amp power and ground and if you need a second alternator a brackets only $140 Atleast for my gmc

Bobby Gately is That Dude. I love how humble and down to earth he is. As big as he is in the car audio game, as far as he's concerned he's never too big to give advice or talk to anyone. I'm all the way in Japan and I've hit him up a few times via messenger and he has always responded.. I hope I get to meet him in person someday.

They are underrated subwoofers, I have a single 15 Deaf bounce avatar stu and that sub eats up my 3k Orion amp with ease. That ribbed surround looks bad ass..

i know these dj phones i use could never due justice to what u heard (and felt) in person, but my over ear joints were vibrating more than vanessa del rio in her prime..so low that my hz ratio wasn't pick'n much up. those dimples came out deep, which made a statement most woofers can't rebuttal about. i know u had to think of all the time and energy it would take for a system perfectionist like yourself the van would require for a single, yet killer, box. was worthy of u and #bobbygately to give it a thought at least. #propsSMDprops 100

That is totally wild lookin... There has got to be about 3 to 4 inches of excursion on that woofer... I can only imagine how much air that woofer displaces in a minute in a ported box or a 4th order bandpass box.

Mr. Mead: I’ve been wanting to update the stereo and speakers on my 1990 Honda Accord ex sedan. I also want to include a powered subwoofer under the drivers seat and incorporate the fiberglass unit from a Oldsmobile Aurora BOSE deck unit for absolute bass. The unit fits with some trimming. Nothing fancy just indulgent

Man I’d love to have a Gately box for my two 8’s in my civic hatch. I had to get creative cause I didn’t have the cash for box materials. I found an old bathroom vanity and cut it up to make a box, but it’s slightly too small so I inverted my woofers to help a little bit. For ports I used 4 pieces of 1.5” pvc I had in my shed.

@@bailey2517 the new usb c has a tip that can be inserted upside down or right side up. There is no orientation to the cable it can go in either direction and be plugged in on the first try every time

Hell yeah I bet it bangs on that kinda power. Just picked up 4 of the 3012r an tried them on a soundqubed 4500 @1ohm an they wasn't bad but was starving for more power. Cant wait to see what they do on some real power
I run a single 3515r. I had it on a salt 12k @.5ohm and now an MD8k per coil and it takes it like a champ.

These are no joke. I just got a demo of 4 of these 15s on 60k watts. The man was running 8 DB aab 7900.1s. Yes a 7900.1 per coil on these monsters clamping 38k after rising to 1.9 ohms. My teeth are still hurting from that demo lol

The old massive audio 10" I use to have sounded better than most 12s and 15s I had and it looked like it had unglazed carbon fiber cone and deep excursion better than most subs out today unless it's something with a triple or quad stack magnet.
