Holland America Cruise ship 'Noordam' departing Sydney, Australia on Wednesday 26th February 2020. As seen in the background, the 'Celebrity Solstice' berthed at Athol Bay Anchorage. She moved to Circular Quay to fill the vacancy left by Noordam not long after.

Great video! Brought back special memories of my first cruise. It was on this beautiful ship to the Caribbean in 2011. Have been on many more since, on the HAL Koningsdam & Rotterdam.

Thank you for another amazing presentation. I found the soundtrack very calming and at the same time rather haunting, knowing what the cruise industry was sailing into. I was so captivated by this ship that when you showed the Opera House with the Bridge in the background it looked like the bow of a ship but just for a moment. I can't wait for Sydney Harbour to once again host these mighty cruise ships.

thanks again for the comment John, I really like this track too, which goes for 20 minutes, and as you say quite fitting under the circumstances. i must admit while editing i had been thinking the same thing- what was up ahead for cruisers.

@@notenoughholidays Unfortunately I don't think Australia will be back cruising for some time. I hope I am wrong but my cruise for December this year was cancelled by RC and rebooked for January 2023 which gives an indication of what the cruise lines are expecting for the future. You stay safe also.
