@@tankiller9638 True. Although in this video I felt like the MRS lost quite a bit of time to the miata in the corners. So my assumption, that the Miata driver was more skilled. But hey I'm just an armchair warrior at this point, so ignore me. It's was super fun to watch though!
@@nizki121 the MRS driver definitely didn't utilize the strengths of his vehicle the MRS should have gained ground on the straights but it really didn't seem to be able to do so which means either the guy was scared of his car...which I mean the MR platform is infamous for its snap oversteer so I could see that, or more likely the person was trying to push the car too hard in the corners which caused them to lose time on the straights trying to keep the car under control which I lean more towards as the MRS driver did seem to lose traction coming out of some of the corners meaning they would have had to let up on the gas to regain traction which would ultimately negate its power advantage over the Miata
@@tankiller9638 the Japanese don't have these fears of snap oversteer which as an MR2-S owner I can tell you is kind of a myth ok if you try to place your MR2-S in the entry of a corner as your Audi S3 you're going to have snap oversteer...most likely this MR2-S apart from the 2ZZ swap is stock or close to stock while the MX-5 clearly is modified, i don't believe that is stock! The car in stock suspension is soft and understeers.

Great driving from both. People always talk about straights and corners, but why does no one mention braking? It is such an underappreciated skill in racing. The NB driver had impressive braking and clearly had more confidence in the braking zone.

足回りの詳細とかアライメントとか知りたいです
車高調は吊るしのクスコStreetZeroAで、フロントのボールジョイントにbauerのヤツが入ってます。アライメントはこの時点で正確ではないんですけど
車高は若干の前下がりでタイヤフェンダーで前後指2本位の車高でした。
アライメントは
キャンバーはF=-2度 R=-1度
トーがF=-1度 R=+1度
キャスターはメーカー推奨
だったと思います
因みに.. もしロードスターに乗っていて車高調いれるならそこそこ高いヤツ入れる事をお薦めします。
