Football aside,I worked with Gary at Royal Mail when he was in between clubs.One of the funniest and likeable people Ive ever met.

Gotta disagree with you mate. I've listened to nearly all the podcasts now and this guy is the worst of the bunch. Despite the crazy mishaps there's just nothing warm, kind nor or endearing about him. Chance after chance after chance but continually fucks up through his own decisions and never seems to be sorry or grateful to those who bail him out of the shit. Total dickhead.
No mate, he had issues with addiction,not a dickhead atall. He is doing well now and has a family he clearly loves. Nit to mention he could make you look like a child on the football pitch. Dobt be so quick to judge

Such a quality player who lost his way tragically, always used to sign him on football manager. When I working my way up through the leagues. It's hard to feel sorry for lads who waste all the chances they get when there are thousands of lads dying for a chance.

What a cracking interview. I know it doesn’t bother Roberts so much about not making it big time, but as a Crewe fan that guy had seriously talent when he showed up. I remember his second chance with Vale and even with our rivalry I hoped it would be a jump start for him again... great to see he’s finally on the right path though, who knows where he would have been had his support come earlier in his career

The story about shitting on the Ghanian 'funny name' footballers pillow was an arsehole thing to do and probably sums this player up . Parkin laughing his head off , baldy nervous laughs and browny realising I need to say something quick time
Browny is defintley not the "sensible pro" Google him if you don't believe me. It's just a few lads in the pub telling story's and we get to listen in.That is the beauty of the podcast and why I watch them. Dont look too deep into it mate

Browny probably had a laugh when younger but whenever Parkin goes too crude Browny pulls him up on lowering the tone > he's not comfortable with some stories , he's more aware that its recorded.

Thought Gary was alright just been abit of a lad with what he got upto.until he mentioned drink driving in the Chairman's MERC then pissed up smashing it up laughing about it, could have killed himself and anyone else walking or another motorist and very disrespectful for doing, we all do daft stuff but that takes the biscuit.
