Nice vid
Thanks!
Cant argue with your five. Ramirez from cleveland is rising though.
Good point. A few more years and he may be on the list. Thank you for your comment!
Gary Templeton is someone who I knew from the time he and his family moved to Santa Ana, CA. He's the only player in major league history with one hundred hits from both sides of the plate. No one in the history of major league baseball ever to do that.
That is an interesting stat. I didn’t realize he was the only player to do that. Loved watching Gary play for the Padres. Thank you for sharing!
Hated alomar but I saw his whole career. He was extremely good.
He was a tough guy to like at times but definitely a great player. Thank you for your comment.
Bernie Williams
That’s a good suggestion but I still don’t think he makes the cut for the top 5. Thanks for the comment?
Have enjoyed your videos, only critique is youll say striking instead of strikeout or something small like that.
Keep it up the subs will come

Why not Murray? 500+hrs and 3k hits while Mantle has 500+ but didn’t break the 3k hits margin.
You make a great point. My thinking is that Mantle was considered the best or most dominant player for periods of time during his career while I don’t think that was necessarily the case with Murray. Additionally, injuries limited some of Mantle’s accumulation of statistics to a certain extent.
Frankie Frish
Good call! Thank you for the comment!
Ed-die Ed-die Ed-die Ed-die Ed-die Ed-die
Chipper at 4? No way. Number 1 .300+ on both sides. No switch hitter did that. Plus over 400 HR. And let’s be real. His competition was way harder then mantles
Maybe the competition was better though that isn’t a sure thing. Mantle played before expansion and he arguably had to face tougher pitching as the pitching staffs weren’t diluted by expansion. Mantle also had a much higher ceiling with the achievements he had in single seasons. God knows what his stats would have looked like if he wasn’t a drunk and constantly injured. Thank you for the comment.
@@BBUYTTV dude back when mantle played pitchers were throwing complete games. No one through over 90. Mantle didn’t face bullpen guys coming out throwing 100. Cmon now. Mantle in his time was amazing. But chipper is just better. .300+ both sides. Mantle had a .50 average split. So how is he a better switch hitter
@@mikeyadase4391 using WAR as probably the best comparison tool between eras Chipper is way down the list at 51st all time while Mantle is at 21st seems to me that translates to a higher value
