Yeah you guys didn’t think our city was pronounced “salmon”. It’s understandable because we race cars every weekend not these bikes. Everyone including people from other cities in Georgia pronounce Senoia wrong. They say it just how yall did when yall corrected it. So no local told you the name of the city…when pronounce it “see-nooy”” as if there was no A at the end. The name is from Senoya McIntosh who was the wife of William McIntosh…the man who signed a treaty giving away his own tribes land to benefit himself! For that he was executed which that you can find is documented but what isn’t documented online is Senyoa is buried here in Senoia just off Main Street by herself in the front yard of a home not a cemetery and people pass it all day not knowing what it is. It looks like a boxing ring from the road view but once you walk up to it you will see everything you need to know about her. No I can’t say where it is that’s bc you should park and walk Senoia and learn yourself. It’s literally a city that someone can walk and explore in just 8hrs. An 99% of our towns history online are false. The filming companies coming here and getting us unwanted exposure are a major part of that. WITH ALL THAT BEING SAID THANK YOU FOR SAYING OUR CITYS NAME WRONG TWICE!!!
