For me as a German it's so funny to see you all amazed by the buildings and animal watching things (we call them "Hochsitze" which would translate as High seats), cause for me it's just an every day thing. I'm kinda sad that i didn't meet you while you were in Germany, but i don't even live anywhere near the black forest, so it doesn't even matter.
