That book series had me obsessed in a way that I haven't felt since I was a teenager.
I read that book series like, 4 times. The last time I was this obsessed, I was 15. (Inheritance cycle). I am 33 now and already read the 4th book twice. I'm working on the 3rd.

I haven't thought of the Inheritance Cycle in a long time. We are pretty close in age because I also was obsessed with the Eragon books when they came out and remember how crazy it was at the school library whenever a new one came out.
You should check out Servants of War, it's new series by the same author of Song of the Black Sword, Larry Correia and a co-author Steve Diamond. It's really good kind of world war 1 with magic, but same strong story telling. I couldn't put it down and the next book in the series comes out soon.

@jacobpeyton6966 " do you believe in fate?"
I already read that book and I cannot wait for the next one.

Your synopsis is pretty good... There are currently four books out... Bad news for audiobook fans though, the fourth has not been released in audio book format as of yet.
According to the author, Larry Correia, The saga the forgotten warrior was supposed to be a trilogy. But as the story grew legs and became more intricate, he realized that he was going to need at least two more books to tell the story so now it is a projected 5 book series.
IMHO, the entire series thus far is one of the best examples of High fantasy... And the author has confirmed that he is currently working on the final book of the series... So people who might be reluctant to buy into a new series without an end in sight, can start now knowing that the series will be completed.
I am a new subscriber to you, so I haven't gone through your back catalogue yet... But I'll give you two suggestions.
In keeping with Larry Correia... I would suggest his grimnoir chronicles. His first book being Hard Magic, once again IMHO, probably the best example of a trilogy story arc.
Also, I would recommend Dungeon Crawler Carl by Matt Dinniman. I don't know if you prefer dead trees or audiobook format... Or if you can go either way, but I would highly recommend getting this one as an audiobook. It's going to be good either way, but there is an excellent production value to the audiobook.

I'm definitely glad he didn't stop at three books, I need to re-read his Grimnoir series. I tried book 1 years ago, but at that point I was binge reading all the Monster Hunter universe stuff and fell out of it. Have you checked out Servants of War by him and Steve Diamond by chance?
And I do plan to read Dungeon Crawler Carl, I love Litrpgs and sadly haven't done a lot of reviews of them on the channel are there any others you'd like to see reviewed on here as well?

@@jacobpeyton6966 yeah, I have pretty much everything Larry has written... He's in one of my top five author group. One of the main people who no matter what they put out I will buy the book first and then figure out what it's about later.
Alternately, I am actually not a huge litrpg fan... In most, the ability to respawn takes me right out of the immersion. However, occasionally I find one or two that build into game worlds, but the characters don't have a safety net. DCC is more of a post-apocalyptic adventure with gameplay elements... And though he can level up, the threat of mortality stays present. NPCs is another good book in that niche wheelhouse of "game environment with real consequences" . And I guess, finally... Just because it is a great palate cleanser book once you've completed a long series... Kings of the Wyld by Nicholas Eames is Great action-adventure set in a D&D like universe. It's part of a trilogy, but the writer seems to have stalled on the third book. That being said, Kings is completely self contained story and well worth the read on its own.
I honestly could go on for a long time, but now I'm anxious to go through your videos, to see what you recommend, so I can have something to do with my extra audible credits.

I believe the series is gonna be 5-6 books long. Typical Baen trilogy 😂
It keeps the charm of the world and the wonderful storytelling all through the current books.
