Finland is my home for the past 7,5 years. Currently I live in Helsinki, the capital of Finland.

Thank you!! 🙂🙂✨ Rovaniemi is indeed magical. Helsinki is too. 😍 It’s just a bit less snowy and a bit warmer place comparing to Lapland, but it can be as magical as Lapland in winter times.

As a person who works outdoors i should hate the snow, but i still think it belongs to winter. Despite the talk about how much snow there has been this winter, i don't think it is as much as it was about ten years ago. Work then was near impossible.
What you said about your dog reminded me of something i saw years ago from my window. A woman with her dog were out just after it had snowed. The dog was super happy running and bouncing and the woman looked extremely annoyed trying to walk in snow that was past her knees. Talk about opposites. Haha!

Hi Pasi! Thanks for you comment and sharing your perspective and your experiences. It is sad how global warming effects the planet, especially north. With more snow (or minus degrees), there would be less ice.. But let’s enjoy the snow as long as we keep on having it! ❄️

Oh no! Every apartment I lived in was super warm in Finland. I assume cold apartment in winter is not something common in Finland 🥶

@@LagogaL To me, Rovaniemi was already a complete darkness. So it’s definitely a subjective opinion and experience. I’m a southern girl and to me, complete darkness is Rovaniemi darkness in December 😄
