      Hello! I have been wearing these for about 3 years now and here are some tips!
      Make sure u ALWAYS clean them, everyday so that no infections don’t grow!!!
      And make sure u wash ur hands before and DO NOT use any paper towels, Kleenex, and cotton balls/pads because they loose lint and could irritate your eyes.
      Make sure you NEVER grab them with your nails because they could scratch them.
      Never put it on over a sink because they could fall in 😩
      And never leave the cap open because it could dry them up and could get scratched.
      If u have any questions, just comment to me or reply and I’ll try to answer!

    If the lenses are taken cared of well with no scratches, etc. and your prescription doesn't change significantly, you can keep your RGP lenses forever. Check out peroxide based cleaning, works very well with monthly progent cleaning.

      Hey there! Thanks so much! It took me like a week to get used to it. I remember the first time I tried, it was really painful and my eyes kept rejecting it, so about a week I think. Then after wearing it for many hours a day, I slowly got used to it and it was somewhat "ok/comfy". But yea, I think soft lenses would've been more comfortable but they don't make it for our vision!

      @uzmaniza642 Před 2 lety

      Hi, am an optometrist here. There are many causes to the blurriness. Perhaps that lenses don't fit you well, or maybe you got dry eyes. It would be best if you get your eyes checked with an optometrist to know the root cause and perhaps find a better solution.
      They also can advise you on suitability for RGP lenses if you would like to try them.

    • @1953childstar
      @1953childstar Před 5 měsíci

      @@GM-wo1lh You need a mirror and caution to avoid loosing a lens. A towel needs to be placed under the face to avoid having the lens fall on the floor. This method can easily scratch the cornea. The DMV plunger avoids all that, it grabs the lens and you simply place it into the case. Amazon stocks the DMV plungers.

      Hey there, I think there is no other wear to get used to them except than to keep wearing it and putting eye drops...I wore them for 10 years, and usually by half-day I am very tired and have to remove them. Try not to strain your eyes when wearing it, such as looking at small or intense things for a long period.
      Or, go to your optometrist to get them refitted, perhaps the alignment was not done right. I have experienced one time when the fitting was not right and everything was slightly blur.

      @@KevsWorldThese can be worn over night. Here in the USA they have been FDA approved for extended wear up to 30 days.

      Hey there! It depends....sometimes a few hours to half a day. It's actually quite tiring to wear it for long hours, compared to soft lenses

      Some people sleep in these since they have been FDA approved for extended wear up to 30 days.
