I found this clip on an old storage card I thought I'd lost. Here is the mechanism behind the flipper mechanism for my 2007 Capstone project at Kettering University. This is just mounted to a board for debug purposes, the alignment is much better in the finished product.

that is so cool! did you use glue, and if you did, what kind?
(I'm working on mine, and am using gorilla glue, and is working great!)
will yours have electronics (lights, ect.), or totally mechanical? (mine is totally mechanical, but may put LEDs and a sound box in it- plenty of space for them!)

I think we just used wood glue and a brad nailer. I made the cover for the flipper mech to be removeable so future students could look at the mech without breaking things. Thanks for the compliment! Post a link to your video when you complete it.

close to finishing it- just smoothing out the rough spots, fixing this and that.
