Sounds like the gas Sidekick isn't so bad I know my moms Diesel RTV 900 work version SXS is definitely for the ranch, farm or worksite it's very heavy with everything being hydraulic including the dump bed. I saw a few times where Cass was reaching to grab a handle but couldn't get to it. I changed the tires out on moms and put 28" MudLites on it for a lil more grip and ground clearance

My autistic son loves watching you all go mudding and it is motivating me to want to start back using my truck and trailer and maybe get a 4 wheeler if I can e er get the military to release my disability to me. Good sales pitch for Kubota guys. It is a nice sturdy vehicle serving dual purpose but..... ahhhh Cfmoto Zforce 800 all the way.
I do want to see a Yamaha Viper in that stable of performance machines BTW and Cass does have 10 toes.... having 11 would be helpful for swimming or toeing a ride ... lol

I agree they did well for a first trail/utility unit. Only thing I find weird is they have the hp numbers dialed way back for a 850. It should be closer to the 60hp region. Little bit if timing advancing would fix that.

that just the yamaha way, scale back on power to keep the reliability intact.
I have the 1100 with a boss plow just picking it up off the ground not Evan plowing three of those front bumpers busted right in half bumper is too thin in my opinion. Broke right at the plow frame three times

my concern is the engine. Not sure about the reliability. do not know much about Subaru . own two kubota machines both have been great. kinda wish it was a 1000. would like a hat. who wouldn't ? thanks guy's.

that subaru engine is actually Yamaha, just like the 16-18 Grizzly/kodiak 708cc engine is subaru. Yamaha turned around and bought Subaru small engine division.

Owning a new Kubota XG850 is a nightmare. It has serious mechanical design flaws in the 4WD and clutch system. Parts replacement will not resolve these design problems. Kubota will not honor their warranty without a lawsuit. They have been sued over and over for failing to honor their warranty when the defect is widespread and super expensive to resolve. We will never buy from Kubota again.
