Hey everyone! We’re Cole & Charisma. Since the start of our relationship we've gotten a lot of questions about how we make things work as not only an interracial couple, but an interabled one as well. There are certainly differences, and despite them we have a great time, all the time! On this channel, you’ll find travel vlogs, Q&As, couple challenges, how-to/educational videos and more. We started this channel to bring people into our lives so we can answer some questions about how we navigate the world. We’ll show you behind-the-scenes stuff people typically don't see, and hopefully raise awareness surrounding accessibility and dating in a wheelchair. You'll quickly see in our episodes that we're all about positivity, inclusion, and keeping a great attitude no matter your circumstances, so if that's what you're into, you're in the right place!

Our view point as Black Americans are different. And Cole said he acknowledges that Charisma sees the world differently as a Black woman. And I thanked him because it is different. Those who claim to see no color or it is not different is colorblind. My life is different from a Black male, White male, and White female.
Especially with the racism and racial divide here in America.
@@7oh7peace We should; I agree. However, that is very easy to say when you are not on the receiving end of the acts of a racist individual and/or system. The sooner we ALL begin to acknowledge the ongoing racial and racist disparities, the sooner we can begin to address them, rather than pretending they don't exist or acting like people bring it upon themselves due to what they focus on.

Your parents did an awesome job teaching and instilling the meaning of humanity. I’m African American and usually feel uncomfortable or wary around Caucasian and worries a lot about my kids as we live and socialize in a predominantly white suburb in Texas. Watching your family interact with Charisma and her family is so refreshing.

That's why I am such a big fan of interracial relationships because I believe it's wants going to resolve the empathy gap in our culture that we see these days. You two add the extra disability layer and our need to see the world through that lens too, which really makes you two very special! :)
Cole, would you or your mom ever consider writing a book? We followed your mom’s post right after your accident. Her writing brought me to tears more than once. She is a gifted writer & I know it would be a touching and inspirational story.

Really proud you guys are growing. One thing that your relationship is doing is putting wheelchair bound people and interrelationships in the limelight. The media is portraying interrelationships as a division but I feel it's more acceptable in today's day and age. The media doesn't even give disabled people a chance. Kudos to you all!

I have been married two years now. Like I said the kiss was very fast and I got so shy. If you have not kissed and you do it in front of people, it feels so shy. I didn't have the confidence to kiss. Now i do and we are blessed with twin boys.. 😂

I've never seen Crooklyn and I live in Brooklyn! I keep meaning to watch it but I never do. Charisma there was nothing I loved more than a white guy with a black guy swag lol! But as I've gotten older I've dated more "preppy"/smart white guys. The field I'm in is filled with really intelligent white men.
