I think americans think they own the world and are the best at everything. the whole country is kinda fucked up in my opinion. For example if there is a school shooting you try to avoid new ones from happening by allowing people to have more guns. Imo that is just redicullous. Offended now?
No, not offended because the majority of us prefer more gun control actually. Just like in most, if not all, other countries, it's big money that slows down progress in human civil liberties.
Lentävä kalakukko Not offended. Our country is actually a cesspit most of the time and totally unwarranted bravado about "murica" makes me crazy. Not everyone living in America subscribes to the "MURICA #1" aesthetic.
one can recognize an American from far away, when one can hear and understand (if one speaks American) from far away. They wear their night clothes to go out and they don’t even try to understand what other countries customs are or what they wear in public etc. And yes, they seem to own the world, no matter where they are. But, they are giving, friendly and open minded and that is something the Europeans can not always say for themselves. But yes, they don’t need umbrellas, because it does not matter if their clothes get wet. Europeans wear nice clothes to go somewhere and it does matter if their clothes get wet. So, the umbrella is a must.
“They smell like freedom.” Yes....yes we do. Thank you for noticing. Edit: these arguments are silly. This comment was all in good fun. Please don’t be mean to each other. I would love to hear about the freedoms and enjoyments you get living in your country❤️

feelmd ks first of all, not all Americans are descendants of Europeans. There are Asian people, African American, and more. Second of all, why would you assume Americans aren’t smart? I also suggest you fix your grammar before commenting on other people’s intelligence.
Unfortunately though, some foreigners don't even realize that the Native Americans were the first and original inhabitants of the U.S. before European explorers came and colonize afterwards.
@Darius Kang "descendants of immigrants from Europe who came to America and turned the mosquito and snake infested wilderness into a modern, prosperous country" - Eh, then that would only apply to British colonials, not general "Europeans". Especially since there is not such thing a unique and singular "European" culture, group, or people. I don't remember Estonians or Poles "creating" America when they arrived in like the early 1900s. Secondly, seeing as that would only apply to British colonials, then that definition doesn't apply to the majority of Americans. Thirdly, also seeing as how the US white population is dwindling, then the perceptive norm would change as minorities become the majority.
@Darius Kang "Utter nonsense! The various people who live in Europe have more in common among them culturally, group-wise and a people " - Um, how? Do they speak the same language? Have the same religious values? Same 'cultural' values? Same cuisine? Last time I checked - no. A liberal Swede with secular 'values' has very little in common with a conservative Russian with Orthodox 'values', don't you think? "Many Europeans from various countries fought in the American Revolution - The majority of Revolutionary soldiers had origins from the British Isles, African slaves, or France. "Yes. Because of uncontrolled immigration invasion by non-European peoples" - LOL, so you're a believer the "White Genocide"? Ok, then, I'd rather have your "muh white genocide" then Apartheid. Get used to it by now.
@Darius Kang "They have more in common with each other than the Swede has in common with say a liberal Indian or the Russian has with a conservative Arab" - Yeah, how? Last time I checked, being gay is now outlawed in both Russia and Saudi Arabia, while liberals in India and Sweden both support equal rights. So...fail. "If the only way to stop white genocide is by walls, Apartheid and herding people like you into prison camps then walls, Apartheid and prison camps will happen" - Are you Nazi-LARPing your "Camp of Saints" wet dream fantasies? You really believe that these drunk, 70 year old Stormfucks are going to start their "muh civil war 2: electric bugaloo"? Ha, well, keep on hoping that'll happen. In the meanwhile, I'm doing good old Uncle Georgey Soros dream of committing 'muh white genocide" by miscegenating the white races. Our dream will live on.
So I was on a train in Europe and there was this group of other Americans (I’m born and raised in California) I was cringing at how they were acting. My friend and I were trying to sleep since we had been backpacking though 5 countries at that point and this group wa a being so loud! I’m not one to complain much... but man. And one of them would ask out loud silly questions like “What does the London flag look like?” “Do we have accents too?” “Is Paris it’s own country?” Then they started to drink and that only made things worse. It looked as though they knees the train 😖 I was surprised everyone else on the train just kept calm and just ignored them.. maybe internally laughed 🤔 . I do a lot of traveling and all of my travels have made me hyper aware of these quirks people do back home. I don’t change who I am as a person, but I try my best to be as respectful as possible to other cultures. Also, I try to learn a few phrases in the language of the countries I visit and do my research beforehand. I’m not the best, but most times it makes locals open up more.
@Orange Fort Her fellow Americans were being annoying on a train in Europe, which proves the stereotype that we are loud and obnoxious when we visit other countries
I'm British, very confident, say hi to everyone, always smiling or laughing loudly, love people of every nationality, dress quite formal all the time. I make a huge fuss of dogs I see in public, approach anyone & everyone, positive attitude, hate McDonald's & food that's greasy. I do walk with confidence & sometimes people confuse it with arrogance, until they meet me. I love Americans because they exude confidence & are individualistic. I think people see them as loud & boisterous when in actual fact it's just being secure in one's self & joyous in everyday life.
Costa Rica guy was down to earth, good guy. Japanese boy saying Brits are pessimists, is my hero. But definitely can't put Aussies in that group. Aussies are like the party animal brother that went to prison but mom and dad still love them, while Americans were the rebel that ran away from home. And then there's Canada, the quiet one who just stays out of trouble.
as a British person I’d say that the confident and loud bits are true (in my opinion) but the rest is kind of exaggerated or not for the whole of America🤷🏽♀️
Because most of us have depression from our shitty society. Whereas other places have happier people, for real, because everyone has a fair paying job to afford rent AND food...and healthcare.

we don't actually think we "own the place", we do absolutely think we "own ourselves" ....maybe thats the confidence, hopefullness, happiness, positivity etc thats described.
@A Dog that's not entirely true, confidence really just comes from within. I've always been involved in a lot, at the time I have a part time job, and go to school full time. I want to have a job in healthcare. I'm busy all the time and people can tell me that I'm pretty or good enough and it's nice for that time but I still don't feel like it's enough. Some people can do the bare minimum and still act like they own the world. It just depends on how you see/treat yourself.
We are a thirsty people. Probably all the MSG in our food. But seriously the fact that Europeans make you PAY for water at a restaurant gives me serious anxiety. I chug about 3 glasses minimum during my meals at restaurants.
Where I’m living, water and restroom are never free. At a restaurant, a bottle of water of 0.33 Liters (11 ounces) costs between €1.80-€2.50 which is $2.03-$2.82. Going to the restroom costs €0.50 or €0.70, depending on the place, which is $0.56 or $0.79.
Sefa Kolubah Well of course they're going to think that. That's how they grew up talking and also how other people around them talk so of course they won't think they have accents. If you tell an Italian person that they have an accent they may deny it because they grew up with their voice and other people around them talk similar to them.
@@miriamstasinski6414 well to think you don't have an accent, you have to think that the way you pronounce things is the absolutely default one, and that's the thing i notice a lot among americans who think that speaking standard american english = none accent. non-americans usually are aware, that they speak in a way that's just common in the area they live, therefore they have an accent.

So do I. It’s not okay to bully or utter the racist remark bc it’s the most powerful country. Underdogs take it in the wrong way. What if Germans are all Nazis, and Irish solely relies on the potato dishes? They’re very bigots
I think it’s just the rich brats who are noticed by Europeans when Americans travel. I travel all the time, and no one ever is like “oh I bet you’re American” or something.
I agree. Not very many Americans I know are confident, happy, and satisfied with life. Maybe it is because they see these Americans while they are on a vacation to another country so the Americans are having the time of their life.
Being an American simply means: anything and everything. There are no ignorant stereotypes. Fat, skinny, confident, shy, loud, quiet...it is alright and completely acceptable. The very concept is mistaken for arrogance when in fact, it simply means acceptance that we are simply human. Nothing less-nothing more.
If that were true then there would be no such thing as American and you'd have violent factions trying to break away with their own values and traits. America is not the Tower of Babel yet. We still have some common ground.
That’s the thing about Americans though no one trait can go with them since we are so diverse. The whole idea was America to be a sanctuary for those around the globe who didn’t want to follow there own country. Has that goal been meet? Depends on who you talk to.
kurodanny hi, I'll just sit happily over here in my world power of a country who leads most of the world by example and innovation. You keep having fun saying all Americans are a waste. I will say we have some pretty trashy and waste-worthy people but we dislike them just as much as you.

What the guy from Norway said makes so much sense, I live in the Seattle area which has a fairly large Scandinavian population and there is a phenomenon called the "Seattle freeze", basically people around here are not going to appear very warm and welcoming unless they moved here from somewhere else. Now I'm not saying that Washingtonians are are rude and hate everyone, but it may seem like that for someone that is not from around here. And about Americans not using umbrellas, at least here in Washington nobody uses umbrellas because it rains so much we would have to use them all time and that would be annoying so we don't, we just make a run for it when we go out in the rain.
In case you fellow Americans didn't know it, this is how most of the world feels about us. I believe it's based out of jealousy and the fact that we do what we want and are unapologetic about it.

The thing is, America is so diverse, especially with the history of immigration, literally anyone can look like they are from America
Unfortunately though, some foreigners don't even realize that the Native Americans were the first and original inhabitants of the U.S. before European explorers came and colonize afterwards.
@@tayirnull1567 yep, and I'm sure the native Americans where better then what the first explores where.

Anyone could be American. The US is so diverse that you can find basically any kind of person.
That’s the thing about Americans though no one trait can go with them since we are so diverse. The whole idea was America to be a sanctuary for those around the globe who didn’t want to follow there own country. Has that goal been meet? Depends on who you talk to.

I assure you, there is more pity than jealously directed towards Americans these days in many parts of the world.
@@newfoundmoralclarity I rather doubt it.
that Japanese guy with the yellow sweater is adorable
And hilarious..."Hello, I'm a racist" lmfao
+abby s. seeing suga makes me believe what you commented
They are chubby fatty guys. THE HECK?!! 😂😂😂
OMG IKR

Lol Swedish dude saying we're always eating while he ate throughout the entire interview
The Beast Haha that was great
I mean, he was just eating his lunch before it went cold. He meant it as in they eat in between meals as well.
that was the joke dude
The Beast typical euro hypocrite slob.
The Beast He ate during the entire interview maybe because they caught him while he was having lunch? But he does have a point because we eat all day long unhealthy food and then spend billions of dollars as a society in diet pills, gym memberships etc...
“They smell like freedom”...best comment XD
they constantly worry about work and $$$ - that’s so accurate!
They forgot about how we always carry unholstered guns and American flags everywhere
Angel HoPe and how all of us drive ford raptors
Yes
HELL YEAH
I'm not even american
And we are always accompanied by a bald eagle
*Plot Twist everyone in the video was American*
I am half American, half Norwegian and can tell you all that this quiz is both revealing and hilarious.
(And, thanks for posting the national flags)
The guy that distinguishes Americans by seeing if they are carrying an umbrella or a bottle knows a little bit too much. We ought to get the CIA to investigate him
The funny thing is, if you told me all those people were American, no one would deny it. #meltingpot
probably because America is mostly an immigrant country , i know its an unpopular opinion but lets be honest here
Katascene no it’s pretty much true
Katascene that’s not necessarily a bad thing.
Unless you're native American Indian...you're from a family of immigrants. Even them...probably immigrants.
science says that humans originated from Africa. That means that the only people that don't have some immigrant ancestors are completely African, living in Africa.
"They are chubby,fatty guys
Hello, I am a racist"
He's cool
that Indo guy “They smell like freedom” that’s the truth lol
