Does the bias fx pitch shifter has more latency than the digitech pedal? Would you recommend me to buy a audio interface and change the pitch in bias fx or i need to buy the digitech drop pedal?
Pedro Rocha I think if you usually peform in Live, I recommend Digitech drop. However, If you have high-end things and usually doing homerecording, bias will help you do.
Have you tried controlling the Positive Grid Pitch Shifter with a MIDI floor controller and/or a volume pedal as an expression pedal? I just bought a meloaudio midi floor controller, gonna get the pedal attachment in a week or so.. but this is my main question..I havea digi-tech whammy and I love the expression pedal..
Does the Bias FX shifter do other intervals besides those? I need a half step down. I can only find specific intervals like 2nd Up, Oct Down, etc. Also, nit-picking here, but Icarus Lives is played by bending each note from a half step below, not by playing the notes directly. No big deal for demonstration purposes, obviously!
Hi, could you upload does drop tuning to tone cloud. Do a c, half step, and hole step. Would be really kind. Tried to find some solution, but other solution do not work so good on guitar, while they do on a backtrack, etc reatune in reaper. On guitar its to much delay using does vst.
@@Fattbamboo You dont happens to have does for the pc/mac app also. I have this group on facebook beginning to get big. I have heard people searching for a proper solution to this. I'll anyway share this with our group :) This will get it own topics there as its so needed, on the wish list for so many.
Burzvegal You can shift it with pedal. If you fully stomp the pedal, it will be 4-5th or octaves. However, when you stomp a little, it drops a little. So, I plugged a tuner after BIAS and adjusting pedal to drop tuning that I want.(even if you are using VST BIAS, you can same thing) I mean when you are in octave mode and Drop D Guitar, you can get drop C#-Low D tuning with pedal adjustment. Sorry for my engRish.
Burzvegal Pitch Shifter has some up or down shift mode. In down mode, there is ▼4th, ▼5th, ▼OCT and ▼2OCT mode. You can change this with a knob. I always using ▼OCT mode, but anything mode is okay that could down pitch you want.

@@Fattbamboo how do i put the tuner behind bias FX? if i hold a mobile phone tuning app on the speakers, it doesn't work and the tuner from bias fx only recognizes the tuning of my guitar, not from my pedal..my guitar is in drop c, but I want to have it in drop B or drop A
Christophe Danas if you're using pc, set the tuner vst or something like and BIAS FX will work for tuner after BIAS FX. BIAS tuner is only detect your guitar tune so you cant tune pitch shited tune only a BIAS FX.
@@Fattbamboo thanks for the answer.. I tried with the GVST tuner and the VST Real Tuner (cockos) in Reaper, the real tuner and gvst always recognize the standard tuning without problems but but when I make major changes with the pitch shifter about the position "Harmony", the tuners no longer react and no longer recognize the change.. if I set the position to "shifter", he only recognizes the standard tuning of the guitar in each level... maybe there is an option in the tuner plugins?
Christophe Danas you have to use "shifter" mode. activate a tuner after BIAS FX, control Pitch shifter pedal you want to shift tuning with a tuner. in shifter mode, set to ▼4th or ▼something(▼ is dow) you can down your tuning with a pedal.
when playing live with the bias pitch shifter it like im getting an effect like theres 2 signals like a harmony and its really annoying and imposible to play
yes. How do you set it for each tuning? It doesn't seem to work for me as I am trying to do drop b tuning and yes I know you have to set the guitar to drop d first.

I am trying to figure the same thing out, did you ever figure out a solution?
Anything?
You can use a tuner after bias fx and the expression pedal to find the tuning you want
Hi, which version of Bias are you using? starter, essential, or ultimate?
Stefano Lo Iacono I’m using essential.

I’m trying to use the pitch shifter in bias but when I have it set to shifter no matter what I do with the type it doesn’t shift the pitch in any way
Ryan Evans Sorry, I don't know. did you controll pedal?
shaw I managed to work it out, you have to physically press down on the pedal, I would have just thought it was for show
i dont know how to use the pedal drop on bias fx.Can anyone help please?
The Pedal needs to be the first pedal in your signal chain and you need to select the Pitch mode instead of the Harmony mode.
I cant get the pitch shifter in bias fx to work :( the harmony mode works but the shifter doesnt change anything
Sorry, I don't know. I recommend to ask support center
You need to press down the pedal, I didn't find it at first too lol!
How did you shifted 2th? When I do, it drops 4 -5th and octaves

Bias fx pitch shifter pre or post amp in bias fx ?
Nino Hendro Prayitno I always set it pre.
When I’m trying, 2th is increasing pitch and the first drop pitch is 4th, that’s why I asked how did you done 2 th down pitch.
