This to me is the greatest Peter Gabriel song I have ever heard. It resonates with me on every level - PLEASE SHARE! This song floors me totally I love it massively
The Title Track I/O is meant to be another epic opening track. And no doubt delivers in the same vein as Salisbury Hill. Over forty years later! Bravo Gabriel!
Fair play for putting this up but obviously a mobile phone recording doesnt do it any justice. I have to say this was one of the best concerts I have ever been to. Peter Gabriel is a master craftsman, a true artist.
I only noticed right at the end there, but it seemed like he was holding the mic weird during the chorus, right before singing the “i/o, i/o” parts - is it just me or is the single arm up followed by both arms up him doing an “i” gesture and an “o” gesture? Seems like the sort of thing he’d do.
Well ... I LOVE PG and always say the two Peter's (Gabriel and Townsend) are the modern day KINGS of music. BUT ... I just listened to entire Lamb Lies Down on Broadway And entire I/O. And ... I'm so sad. 😔 PG is degrading like the rest of society and music. I knew to be worried when he was prasing electronic DJs

Sublime. What a chorus. 🙏
This is just incredible.

It wasn't a mobile phone recording.
