You two are so brave!!! I really admire you!!! A friend of mine has motion lights under his Rv to scare the critters (rats!!) away. He has had no problem since he installed those. Love your adventures. You make this old officially elderly woman feel like a kid again
I too have heard great results of lights under.
Also the lights he has are motion activated strobe lights so the flashing scares the varmints!!!

It’s said that one of the most effective scents to keep mice out of areas is peppermint. You can use peppermint leaves, spray, or oils. A cheap and easy way to do this is to soak cotton balls or make a peppermint oil spray to use at entrance points.
If you don’t like the peppermint scent, you can also use strategically placed bars of Irish Spring soap. This scent is said to repel mice quite well and doesn’t need to be replaced as often. If the soap starts to lose smell, it’s probably just a little dusty. Rinse the dust off, let it dry, and put it back in place.

Tried Irish Spring in my house. It is not very effective. My cat, thankfully, is.
YOU CAN ALSO CUT UP SOME IRISH SPRING SOAPS AND PUTS THEM IN THE PLACES WHERE THEY ARE COMING IN !

Another thing we use to start the fire is using paper towels that we put the cooked bacon on...to whisk away the grease from the bacon. Plus it smells ahhh-mazing!!!

Only Tanya and Dave can turn a record blizzard, with two feet of snow, and 60 mph winds into a cozy little party for two. Sledding, wine, oxtail soup and, well, almost snow cones. You two, by far are my favorite Eskimos. I think my favorite things are the lights you put up. Cheers!!!!
P.S. Tanya you were so graceful on tube just like a little balarina, great lines and extension, and Dave caught air. As far as the tracks, they look like chicken tracks.

Dryer sheets put around in drawers and in cabinets and I also put peppermint oil on cotton balls in cabinets and so far in 3 years no mice

Snow on roof: tie a long tarp to one side of the roof and drape it across and hang down the other side. Then you can periodically go out and shake the tarp to loosen the snow up there, causing some of it to fall down. Alt, you can buy a “roof rake” to get the snow off from the ground.

Don't you have 2 cats, they should take care of the mouse problem, unless your cats are like my dog and just wants to play with them - lol

As little kids in Wisconsin growing up in the 1950's...we loved oxtail soup/stew. Some people get hyper about the meat and avoid it...they don't know what they're missing. Glad you stuck it out. Hi from Wisconsin 🍺
Oxtail was something I do up with as well. We always try to make the best situation. We can no matter what absolutely enjoyed bringing our winter camping adventures to you and really enjoyed cooking in the great outdoors.❤🎉

My husband and I just found you guys and we hit the subscribe button! We love your fun loving attitude! Due to illness, we have had to hunker down for several months and have not been able to do any camping. We have a Ford F250 Diesel with a slide in camper. We got caught in a spring hail storm coming home over Raton Pass a few years ago and had some pretty significant damage to our camper. Luckily we found a really great RV repair guy and our camper is like new now and is calling to us to get out and enjoy it. Your videos are so much fun and so informative. We love your cats!!!! Your videos are allowing us to vicariously enjoy camping through the two of you. Can't wait to get out again! Your relationship reminds us so much of ours! Soulmates forever! Oh your oxtail stew! I had the same childhood memories and longings. I found a great recipe and I made them also in a Dutch oven. It was my first Easter dinner in my new house. Fall off the bone. I Love you guys, here in Scotland we get 2 inches of snow and everything comes to a standstill, where as you have 2feet of snow and just get on with it Ha Ha!!.X💕🏴
Tip: For light, fluffy snow, use a leaf blower. They do make battery powered blowers so you wouldn't't have to deal with gasoline.

That dinner session was for me a travel down memory lane. My Granny used to tell me her life stories and how she used to cook in her fire half (fireplace). You are so good with that, you would have fit right at home with her as she lived her last days cooking with a woodstove. That takes real talent! So, I loved that part of the video!

We went on a trip year's ago got stuck in snow up to the truck door's and we all pretended it was a zombie out break and we needed to survive threw all the laughing and scaring each other we spent a week there even after the storm was over we brought the kitchen sink so we all we good! My Nan made a delicious oxtail stew. Back in the day hearts, liver, oxtail were considerably cheaper than they are now. You both seem very capable of coping in the weather. Very practical couple. Love the can do attitude.
Those tracks were definitely duck tracks. Mountain snow ducks.
