thanks a lot, really helped me! my HPI bullet was stalling at high speed but after tuning the engine as you showed it started up real nice and was running nice at speeds.

Thanks fella - just got an acme condor pro and struggled starting it but followed this and much better :-) everyone ignore the warning about the low idle sticker - mine was covered and said do not touch but after removal and tweaking as said above mine started and ran much better.... good stuff Alishanmao :-) many thanks.....

you didnt mention it to me, but lean out the low speed needle a tiny bit :) If that doesnt help then higher the idle speed a little :)

I just got a acme condor pro plus and without your help I would of thrown it in the bin. It took a while even to start, but now it's starts good and I think it's running ok.
Ps the don't touch sticker on the low end is in the bin.

Hi Ali, the 'team infinity' engine may be powerful but after running mine in I couldn't tune it and like you said easily overheat! I looked for air leaks and found after about 7 tanks that my engine backplate, carb mount, fuel tank & front bearing all had air leeks! So if you buy one take it out of car and check for air leeks first!
on your controller there should be a dial labeled throttle trim. you want to back it down to where the engine will idle correctly without making the car go until you give it throttle.
no problem and a little tip always run it leaner in the summer an run it richer in the winter its to keep it warm it the correct weathers sorry about thead spelling up here i broke my keyboard lol is fixd now
Ali am i right- if it boggs down at full throttle it means the low is rich- yes??? But however when i do pinch test it seems all ok- Could it be the HSN too rich?? cheers ;)

Ali great video I have my low speed needle set good but when I give it full throttle with the wheels off the ground it is fine but when I am driving it the engine cuts out it does not even bog down it just shuts off. Thanks Ali you are the man !!!!

why does the pull starter kind of get easier to pull once there is fuel in there?

I have the 18 infinity engine which if set up correct runs with no problems. Have you seen the Team Infinity 21 small block which drops stright into a 1/10 scale. I`ve just got one and it looks like it going to fun!

Set the trim on the remote control keep turning it until the wheels stop spinning :-)
Ali i dont have this truck, but I have a problem where the pull start handle keeps hitting the on/off switch off. Any ideas how to fix this? The handle must be loose?

hey ali :) at 1:46, you see the bell gear. well mine the side next to the flywheel has kind of discoloured slightly :) Just gone a kind of purple/ brown shiny colour ?? Is this normal?? Gear mesh is fine :) Cheers

well i understand people are having alot of problems, but i have three team infinity engines and i never had any problems with the engines :)
when u were doin full throttle was there loads of some coming out i am new to this and loads of ppl said to me when u are doin full throttle lots of smoke should come out.

@alishanmao, maybe :0) the thing is this is the ''starter' can in almost all model shops in the UK! so unfortunately most UK people this car & engine will be their first impression of rc nitro powered cars. I have the patients and overall modelling experience to try and fix these problems where as others will probably just give up or carry on until it breaks. If they are as bad as everyone says then they shouldn't be allowed to sell them no matter how cheap!

when the pullstart is hard its only good, that means that u got a good compesion and hat good ! :) i got one question, i buyed a Team VTX with .26 engine.. what % of fuel should i use?

you know that tube that connects from the exhaust pipe to the Nitro Tank? Or gas Tank?
Well i was thinking about it, I don't have a Fuel Filter and if i feed my engine with that smoke, it might die sooner or later. (Its gonna die sooner than Broke in engine due to that My wasn't broken in, actually i wasn't sure if my engine was broken into. When i first got it, the shop i went in, he demonstrated the car to me with this

find the factory settings for your screws and back them all up to where they were when it was new. sounds like yours are way off
You should show one with .16 engine or hyper speed .16

So is there no mid range setting on this engine?
It looked like u were seting the mid range but you were saying i was the low range.
Most engines have a mid range needle that they say you should never change.
so 3 circles is 1 n half then? if when i turn my throttle trim up on my control should it engage the brakes because mine does? please help!!
thats normal, it'll always have resistence like it should,but not too much.

hey i was just wondering, when u buy a new engine can u put WD-40 or a few drops of car oil instead of buying the that other oil or would it wreak up the engine. (only 1 or 2 drops of car oil)

its all ok now. i went to a shop and they said that the clutch was gone, so i put another one in and it is better now.

1 outher thing is my back wheel on my nitro rampage the wheel is bent i think it needs a new hex i dont no how to replace it so the thing i whant to no is will it be ok to drive when i drive it you can see its a bit bent but it seems ok what do you think thanks for all your help

Hey Ali, they say running your car on high amounts of nitro may damage your car earlier than when using less amounts of nitro. Is this true or is there not much difference? I'm running on 15% at the moment, so you're running on twice as much nitro as I do, which was quite shocking for me the first time :)

My engine still doesnt start! It keeps getting flooded and the fuel is igniting when I use the glow plug??
Have to agree below, you are only doing a half revolution, not a full , I’m new to this and now very confused Incase I’ll lean the engine out too much!

Have you done a video for team infinity engine and a slide carb as that is what i have on my gs racing storm cl-1
it alwy ignits this means your flooding our engne try lelaningout your engine a verry small turn anti clocwise i hope this helped

sounds like your con rods gone or like in my case on my car with acme .18 engine in the cogs are sheared

this is the problems ive been having with my rc nitro rampage car is i think its called a receiver box. its a black box with a ariel coming off the end and it has three ports for three wires to go in it. so i snapped the ariel off it and i taped it up and it done rubbish losing signal all the time so i changed it and put my condor receiver in it would it be ok it seems to be working fine and i changed the Crystal in it so i can use acme remote and it all seems ok is it ok to use thanks.
Does the high speed needle effect the idle in any way?
@alishanmao I have a question about my HSP car. its smaller than your T-rex but by the same brand. It is a 1/16 scale Kingliness and the bell gear kept slipping. Nothing was stripped but wasnt meshing with the other gear. I disectited it and replaced a ball bearing with a washer. Then I find out there was no ball bearing in it then took out the washer, started but did the same thing. WHAT DO I DO!!!!
Once it started going fast what did u do because that happened to mine today and it took off and it was out of control

im in the breaking in process and when i am on low revs the engine slows and then suddenly dies and when on idle the wheels are moving but if i make it so the wheels don't move it dies PLEASE HELP

see the the bolt its one circle!!the ''up'' of the bolt comes up again so that is a full circle!!!!
I have the hpi firestorm 10t with G3.0 engine and I'm trying to get the needles set up right but it's hard to start and it cuts out when u try to change mixtures and the wheels are spinning unlike urs are stationary. The low speed needle is very hard to get at and last time I tried starting it the engine took of and revved freely. It doesn't like full throttle when u give it full throttle it bounces around on the limiter for 2 secs and cuts out. can you help please with the set up on the carb
i have set the engine up the same as u have and when i take the glow plug ignighter out the engine cuts out help.

green gas that i dont was even gas. so he drove it already first handed, and i didn't know anything about rc nitro cars. Okay so basically my engine was all jacked up already.
So i took the tube out with one end on the exhaust and the other stuck to the rear (near the wing), so that extra exhaust will spit out from the back and not into my tank. Is doing that alright?
