I know that you are French dear Marc but as a German i want to correct a few facts about the A 380 history. First his founder was Jürgen Thomas from Hanau Germany. Then 60%of all assembled parts in each A 380 are made in Stade and Pforzheim which are only two German Airbus factories. Last but not least each A 380 was painted in Hamburg Finkenwerder and from there each A 380 was handled over to all It's customers. So the A 380 was more a German airplane with Co production in France, Spain and England. Sorry but Toulouse didn't play the key role. Nice rewiew never the less ...
Thank you for your comment. Working in this exact sphere and being well connected with people who have worked on the project I can tell you that most of the engeneers who worked on the A380 project were French and so the test pilots as for every Airbus in fact. The production sites were also spread around Europe but not more in Germany than in France. Also the fact that the FAL is located in Toulouse is a fact, so saying that the A380 was built in Toulouse is exact, as when I stay that a 747 is built in Everett even if it's not where all its components comes from. And last but not least the father of the A380 is Jean Pierson who was the CEO of Airbus Industries and who decided to launch the project. Mr Pierson also worked on the Concorde many years before the A380.
@@MillionMilesMarc I don't know where you got all that from but it's simply not true. Jean Pierson ? 🤣 I can proof that Jürgen Thomas is the creator and founder of the A 3XX project. I don't know why you wrote this but it's simply wrong.
@nikolauswolff5791 Jürgen Thomas was senior vice president of Airbus large aircraft division, he was under the impulse of Jean Pierson who was CEO of Airbus when the A3XX project was launched. So yes you are right he led the A3XX project but following the order of Jean Pierson and under the command of Airbus CEO of that time Noël Forgeard (also French...). Shortly after in 2001 Jürgen Thomas became special advisor of the CEO of Airbus.
@@MillionMilesMarc arguing with germans is pointless. They always think they are the superior people of the world and that they have the right to judge and criticise others. Their arrogance is now their downfall!

Why were you in a middle seat? Was it a full flight? I think I saw some empty aisle seats.
Yes the flight was so full that I didn't get a window so I took middle to be able to film outside
