Raag Pilu (Piloo) belongs to Kafi Thaat.This is a Dhun (Tune) based Raga, and hence more appropriate for Thumries, Dadra, Tappas, and Bhajans. Although it’s Swaroop is small, it is a melodious Raga. Being Dhun based, all twelve notes can be used in the Raga.
