Is there anyway to copy the same drawing on to the next frame?
The way I would do it, in the paint node I would change my brush stroke from "multistroke" to "stroke"
@@McFilmin but can you copy it only to the next frame? beacuse when i select stroke, it copies to all frames
When I select stroke nothing happens
did you ever figure this out?
At the bottom right corner there should be a slider called stoke duration then u can the line will remain for the number of frames you choose. 0.5 frames is the same as one if that ever happens

how can i paint a perfectly straight line?? if i use the polyline tool it applies it to every frame and i need it frame by frame.

I've been able to draw but only with paint after I add the soft glow it no longer lets me draw. When my mouse hovers over the video to draw the little circle that's usually green is red.
mh I had this problem once, but I can't remember, I think you got the wrong tool either in the upper left or in the node options, this should help:
Click the "Paint" -Node, then click "Multistroke" in the upper left besides the mouse cursor symbol, if you hoover above most buttons they'll show you their names now click the "Color" (paint bucket) tool on the left (the Nodes options in the "Apply Controls" -Panel).

I dont know why but when i try to connect the bspline and the merge node, I don't get a white blob which can be toned down by decreasing border width...what could be the issue?? Please help im desperate lol

I'm using this technique on a CU of my hand moving bit the tracker won't move with my fingertips in the shot, any troubleshooting ideas as to why?
i don't even have the same glow effect as you how do i fix that?
Shift + Spacebar type Glow and choose the "Glow (Glo)"

can we use planartracker and draw something which stays for some time like 4-5 seconds?
can we set the time for the planertracker?
You can cut the vid, then track it, or just track it fully and hover over where you want to end the tracking, and click on the delete all track points to the right of playhead button.

Question: can you change the GLOW FX animation possition in terms of overlay? i mean, to put animation behind body and above background?
Im just guessing but if you mask off what you want it to be behind and use a background node, it should work

Hold down your middle mouse button to move your picture around. control + mousewheel up to zoom in or mousewheel down to zoom out.

Thank you so much! Quick question: is there a way to COPY and PASTE a series of drawn-on animations?
I followed your tutorial and would like to copy and paste the 2 full seconds of animation I created and apply it to another clip.
No worries! I would just copy and paste all the nodes (background, paint, soft glow) and create a new merge node in another clip in the Fusion window. Hopefully that helps. If that doesn't work the other option would be to render the animation on a black background then use it as an overlay
How to save after doing these

You can draw now, but to make it visible you have to Click the "Merge" -Node and set Apply mode to "Screen" (it's a drop down menu in the "Merge" -Panel) there you go, just click "Paint" -Node again and you can draw now, advance a frame with the arrow keys.
