If you don't drive on Highways, just drive on local roads.

@@TravelwDTTH Thank you. We did the drive successfully without taking toll roads using Google Maps guidance (with no toll road selection). It was a little nerve-racking as we still had to pay a lot of attention to road signs (it's not like Google Maps can actually do the drive for us!). The police officer at the Swiss border (as our car drove pass the border - there were different types of lanes ) was friendly and helpful

Nothings. It's just border between Switzerland and Germany. Because Switzerland is not belong EU. 🥰
