One Soccer is more financially loaded then people realize. They have the money to buy out the rights exclusive. Which is what they have done for the Canadian Championship and Concacaf Nations League.
Toronto FC, Vancouver Whitecaps and occasionally the Montreal Impact have their MLS games and when they are in the CCL is still on TSN.
TSN also got the rights for CanPL club Forge FC during there Concacaf League games against Antigua G.F.C. and C.D. Olimpia.
TSN has been fairly good at covering the CMNT, it's just One Soccer is loaded and buying rights to everything like no tomorrow, including Liga MX, Japanese Super League, etc. I think specifically to block and much bigger DAZN from running them out of the business. Dazn has scooped exclusivity with the EPL, EFL, UCL, and Europa League. I suspect both are competing for the Bundesliga, Serie A and La Liga rights.

Ka Kjj I congratulate Canada for the win. They have lots of good young talent coming up, and it’s about time it isn’t just mexico and the rest of the region. I wouldn’t say the US is arrogant, just complacent. US Soccer as a federation, needs a complete overhaul. Ever since the T&T loss, it was so important for them to have a complete change. Regarding the comment Sid said about the US not wanting to leave the friendly confines, that isn’t the case for them, that’s what mexico does. The US has gone to Europe and beaten the Netherlands and Germany, while Mexico goes over to Belarus and loses. They tend to play lower competition in friendlies and beat them handily, then they go play a real power like Argentina or Brazil and get exposed

With all due respect in the world, I can concur positively that this version of Canada is vastly superior to their usual attrocious self since Alex Bunbury retired, but you just won over a USMNT that's been in crisis for over half a decade by now.
And outside of this very game, so far you've either played with CONCACAF canon fodder or lost to Mexico, Jamaica, and El Salvador which has had troubles to beat former worst team in the world Montserrat.
What the USMNT did against Germany in the Confederation's Cup was indeed extraordinary and a milestone, there's nothing extraordinary in what happened the other day, paraphrasing Neil Armstrong you've just showcased you've taken one small step for a man in the right direction for Canada Men's National Soccer Team, but its still 240,000 miles away of being a giant leap to become a milestone to make Canada as a world soccer powerhouse or even a soccer powerhouse within the Americas.
So keep on playing, you're doing good, but don't let this small victory get you head over heels because there's still a long, long way to go.

The problem is, with all due respect, Canadian soccer coverage is not very good. Sportsnet footy coverage is worse than TSN's. At least TSN send broadcasters to the game. Sportsnet use to have play by play announcers do a broadcast off a monitor in Toronto. So I don't care about mainstream coverage in Canada. For major tournaments I watch the BBC and ITV coverage. Which is 100 X's better.

The north american ladies team profit from the fact they are of the few 'chosen ones' that actually can live playing soccer professionally... large majority of opponents they ever meet (e.g. like when US played Thailand AT WORLD CUP!) are women doing A REAL JOB and practicing at weekends, if ever.
That can't be compared to the male business in soccer where EVERY half-way competitive team is 100% professional, and you don't win games just because you went to the gym more often and can overpower opposition over 90+ minutes.
