Oh! A walmart near me had rolls of that type of fabric on clearance for $1-$7 dollars, and the 2 employees I asked gave me strange looks when I asked how could I get them cut before shrugging and walking away.

I have a starvent 11 inch ceiling fan in my van. It looks about the same size as your vent. It is a fan and extractor fan and was £120 ($150). I was also buying from America so had to pay the postage fees so it would be cheaper for you if you wanted to change it to a fan in the future. I have used it while doing my van build and it takes about 20 mins to cool the place but it definitely works😊
Everything looks fantastic! Suggestion… there are many tutorials on how to fold items to maximize space here on CZcams. Maybe some might help with your clothes storage in those adorable bins? Re cooling solutions, what about one of those portable air coolers that you fill with water? They're really compact and there's no installation. I've seen lots of vanlifers use them and apparently whilst they're generally not powerful enough to cool the whole van, they are most definitely powerful enough to cool the person living in said van! They just run off USB and you can add ice along with the water for extra coolness. Tory Delury did a YT video called "How I survive summer vanlife in an unbuilt campervan" where she gave a non-sponsored review of one called the evaCHILL which was $100 from Amazon - she said it was the only way she'd found of keeping cool. She also mentioned a cheaper one (Arctic Chill, $35) that she got from Target which she said was still worth having if you could sit a couple inches away from it, but the evaCHILL was waaay better and more powerful.

Monique, your van looks beautiful. You are so lucky to have a close family. I bought the Amla Powder for my hair, I saw you use it in one of your videos. How actually do you use it? I mixed it with water but the texture was this thick goo. I applied it to my hair and it felt very rough. Safe travels to you, I am in CA and we are currently watching a fire that has burn 11,000 acres with no containment.
The girl I watched on CZcams mixed the Alma powder in her conditioner, so that’s what I do. I don’t have measurements; I just pour some in the jar until I feel like it’s enough. Not too much. It will make your conditioner a weird texture. It does feel rough when it’s on my hair, but when I rinse it off my hair feels sooooo soft!

Question I know you said you would not live at home. but why not park the van at your parents place, which would be safer then figuring out where to park at night. You're still independent and not having to struggle or find a safe place to park overnight.

Lol, you didn't miss anything. The temperature gets a little lower these days, but it never reaches 0 anymore. It's getting the job done (for the most part), so I'm going to keep it.

I tried to sleep in my car but every time I do I get scared as if I won’t wake up .. did you have that experience when first time ? 😢
Yup! I did. I was mostly scared I’d die of carbon monoxide poisoning anytime I cooked in my car or turned it on to use the heater. I thought it would still be lingering it the car and would take me out when I went to sleep. It took me a while to feel comfortable sleeping through the night. These days, I just keep my roof vent cracked (even in cold weather), trust my carbon monoxide detector, and go to sleep.

This isn’t to deter your travels but just to be mindful, I just left Washington and I got a drive by “fuck you, you N word” from a group of white males driving by in the night.” It was so ridiculous that I laughed but the realization set in afterwards and I was angry. Just be mindful in those areas. I travelled all the way to Alaska and back so I won’t let it stop me but just be careful ❤
