Season 3B is widely considered the best arc in Teen Wolf, primarily because of Dylan O'Brien's acting. He was amazing in the dual roles... you could literally see his eyes change as you watched him switch between characters.
Part of the fun in Stiles being the one posessed is that he wasn't just one of the good guys, he was the token normal human. The other humans were at least trained warriors/assassins and whatnot (at least at that point in the show). Stiles showed up to fights with wit and a baseball bat... that he almost never used very effectively, though I guess it made him feel better 😅
And Stiles with the death sentence over his head made for some very poignant Stiles x Scott scenes. It was just all around great TV.

void stiles and stiles being forgetton were arguably the best arcs of teenwolf and that's not just because dylan is a well loved actor, but also because stiles is just so interesting, he never stayed as the same person, his character had actual development and you can immediately see it after he was free from nogitsune, he was never the same, i like that, i like characters who shows change, that's why arcs that has him as a center were the most intersting to me

What I love most about Teen Wolf is the world building and mythology. They pull from Mythology world-wide.
No this was defiantly the best story line of the entire show. And it if anyone had any suspicions on if Dylan O'Brian could act or not it was answered with that one season.

The reason for his kind of tired make up was that Stiles wasn't allowed to sleep so that he wouldn't let the fox spirit (nogitsune) in, so he was trying his hardest not to fall asleep for days he even went to a mental institution to lock himself in and avoid causing anyone harm, but the spirit took advantage of that and it all went crazy from there .. that's why you see that crazy eye make up on him that was supposed to show he hadn't slept in days he's been drugged multiple times and is going weaker and weaker
it was the best part of the show tbh. Stiles was already the second main character and a fan favorite and to give him such a crazy arc with such incredible acting behind it...top teir. also when the show started to get actually dark and more horror like. Maybe because the characters were grown up a bit too? Teen Wolf definitely has its cheezy moments, but is actually a really good show if given the chance.

Hands down my fave antagonist in Teen Wolf and best season (or half a season) of the show.
So good! Whilst it is technically the second half of season 3, it's pretty much a season within itself. MTV gave them 24 episodes for the third season but the writers thought that was too long for one narrative so they split it in 2. Most people refer to it as season 3a and season 3b. There are ties between the 2 but episode 12 which closes out the first half is written, filmed and delivered as a finale.
I'm mid 40s so definitely not the target audience, I originally put teen wolf on a couple of years ago, it was after a friend's 40th, my son was at his dad's and I was in bed dying of a hangover after getting stupid drunk for the first time in years. I put it on because I figured it was a bit of silly fluff that would entertain without making me think too hard and I wouldn't be annoyed if I dozed on and off and missed an hour or two here and there.
Suffice to say I got hooked, and season 3b absolutely reeled me in and turned me into a total Dylan O'Brien fan. The kid can frigging ACT! Now I'll watch anything hes in as he always smashes it out of the park and is such a delight to watch.

I loved the nogitsune part in the TV show and was annoyed that they reused it for the movie but didn't bring back stiles eventhought this character was only good because of how Dylan played it

Helpful tip I realized for east asian languages like Japanese: If there's a vowel, then that's where you stop *each syllable. So for Nogitsune it would be No Gi Tsu Ne (in this case the T in Tsu is pronounced with Gi because of the speed and smoothness it brings to the word) Another example from Korean would be Kumiho or Ku Mi Ho. A pronunciation example that even I still struggle with is the location Inazuma from the game Genshin Impact. In English it's pronounced like I Na Zu Ma as well but the length of Na and Ma is shorter so it sounds different. We says I Na Zu Ma whereas they say I Naa Zu Maa (still quickly though somehow? I'm not like specially educated for this. I'm just autistic.)
