Man, these guys would have been my favorite band of 2003.
Love the old poison the well / old the bled / the chariot / and even some old hopesfall style melodies vibe. Making me feel nostalgic lol.

This is very reminiscent of Poison the Well: "The Opposite Of December" (1999) & "Tear From The Red" (2002). Also a little early Thursday - "Waiting" (1997). Finally I hear a bit of 36 Crazyfists: "A Snow Capped Romance" (2004).
You should really check out "Renounced" if you haven't.

I checked out all of their music that's out and the whole time listening I kept saying to myself "Poison The Well plays a riff just like that and that's a Poison The Well chorus." I like this band but I just feel like PTW did it better.

SO happy that post hardcore/hardcore/metalcore is making a proper return to form after the absolute shite state it's been in since 2011. So great to have so much speed, melody and emotion back into the genre back how it used to be in early 2000s. Bands like these guys, Holding Absence, Static Dress and Boundaries are absolutely killing it right now. I haven't been a part of the heavy rock scene for a long time so I'm happy these bands are bringing me back into it and doing so with genuinely good music!
