4th of July Backyard Pyromusical 2017!

- 4th of July 2017! This year's show is a pyromusical scripted to three songs. A total of 286 cues across 21 COBRA Firing System modules. This is my first stab at a pyromusical and already have many great ideas to use for next year.
Also, unfortunately the ground effects were not captured in the video. You will see some of the strobes and flames, but miss all of the gerbs located on the towers.
Also, I had to change the pitch of the 2nd song in order for the video to not be blocked.

A couple of things.
1) I had to change the pitch of the 2nd song in order for the video to not be blocked.
2) Most of the ground effects were not caught in the camera, but you can still see parts that they go off.

Inspiration! That is exactly how I started. Look back at 2010 and it was just hand lighting a few cakes with a bic lighter.

this is one of the coolest things i've ever seen. the way you had the different fireworks go off perfectly with the musical cues was nothing short of masterful. you made this seriously look like an art form, and all while doing it in your backyard, everyone else needs to get on your level man. bravo

Wow man you nailed it for sure! I haven't been a fan of pyromusicals, always thought they took away from the pyro portion of the show but this was the total opposite. Just goes to show how big of a difference amazing execution makes!

Very nice. Love the combos. The music choreography. All very nice. My favorite segments were the bang bang with the salutes, the go getters with the flying fish, and the red pearl crossettes with the falling leaves. Great combos.

Very nice man loved the gold segment early. My shows just consist of me handfiring a bunch of cakes fused together so I can definitely appreciate the time you guys put in on these pyromusicals
Thank you! That is where it all starts though. Go back and watch my show from 2010/2011 and I was in the same position. Slowly started to fuse and add things to the how. Next upgrade to a firing system. Then start scripting shows and now pyromusicals. It's a fun hobby and there is so much room to progress!

You know, and I'm saying this with 100% sincerity, I'm pretty sure if you look up 'epic' in the dictionary, you'd find a link to this video. This was absolutely freaking fantastic and if you didn't mention it being your first time doing a pyromusical, I'd have never thought otherwise. The synchronization of lyrics and effects were pretty spot on. Great job, dude. Loved it.

That was AMAZING!!! What are the spiral fireworks called? Those were my favorite!
Lauren Childs the ones that spiraled are flying fish effect I believe, though I don't know the actual name of the firework itself
Those were called tourbillions, also sometimes called serpents. I enjoy those a lot as well because it isn't common with consumer fireworks.

Yeah, I think I need to split some cakes next year! That was the hardest thing for me, all the class c cakes have long ass duration.
