Hi Deborah, the place you stayed in Maribyrnong was called Midway Hostel. I know because when I arrived in Australia in 1976 we stayed at the Midway hostel too. I was very young and we also left family and friend’s behind, and also had to learn a new language. Is amazing how our past were so similar 😁 love your videos ❤

Very relaxing video although hectic for you. Just about the olive oil, I’ve heard many people say you should buy oil in a glass bottle and not plastic. So I always buy in a glass bottle now. Have you or anyone else heard the same? My favourite chocolate is also the Aldi milk, hazelnut, chocolate. The choceur brand is the best quality chocolate IMO. I can eat the whole block in one afternoon, so ration myself to once a month.

It was huge then, I can't imagine how big it is now. I would love a vlog done there. I've just been to K Mart to buy some warmer clothes and I got a couple bargains. I got a really thick Everlast puffer jacket reduced to $20 and a longish jacket with a fluffy lining and hood for $10. Great bargains. Is your husband Italian too? Hi lovely! Yes, it was quite an expensive shop this time. Melbourne's weather has been freezing lately! Highpoint is indeed a huge shopping center, but it's actually in Maribyrnong, not Doncaster. It's grown so much over the years-I should definitely do a vlog there sometime! You found some amazing bargains at Kmart! Those jackets sound perfect for this weather.
