  • This club could be the DEATH of the fairway wood, for good, and could change golf forever. Say goodbye to your fairway woods... yes golf seriously could be changed forever. We have seen this club before, but not in this format, with this technology, and have the capability of gaining the distance, launch angle and shots you need in golf. Fairway-woods and in particular a 5 wood is a tough club for lots of golfers no matter their age or ability for so many reasons. Could Cleveland have come up with an unbelievable solution that could mean you say goodbye to your fairway woods?
    Say hello to the CLEVELAND 2024 HALO XL HY WOOD! Could this be the best club you need to have in your bag, cleveland are typically known for their wedges, but could this CLEVELAND 2024 HALO XL HY WOOD with a larger head than most other hybrids and a longer shaft for extra distance be one of the best YET? Will this CLEVELAND 2024 HALO XL HY WOOD be one of the best clubs except fro drivers to be released in 2024? Find out in this honest and unbiased golf review.
    Could it also be one of the best golf hybrids of 2024,. How to hit hybrids is totally different compared to how to hit fairway woods in golf, could this do both? Find out!

    Carried the original Hy-wood because i struggle with FW off the deck. By far my safest club in the bag.
    These are not ment for your high swing speed players or great baller strikers. Its for the common golfer who needs help. What really helps are the guiderails so your turf interaction is improved and the club wants to go straight.

    What’s the characteristic of the ball you use for the wood/ hybrid? Wondering what the results would be if you used a ball a mid handicap player would, or an X ball verses a three piece urethane or two piece? I do game Cleveland hybrids! I play a #2 off the tee! I am 71! Thanks

    Cobra F8 fairway woods, adjustables in 3/4 and 5/6, have well pronuounced rails also. They work even better on turf vs. matts. I love mine, confidence to hit the ground, take a divot and forgiving if you hit down slightly before the ball. Ball in a divot or depression, no problems. Why Cobra stopped using rails is ? to me. Great review. Other plus is I have found excellent durability in Cleveland's products.

    What's your swing speed to get those numbers? (Couldn't help but notice that info not registering, you must be up to 110+) If you could test it at about 95-100 that may be better info for so many more golfers or do a direct comparison with another manufacturer. Without either these two factors the numbers kind of just show you are a good golfer.

    Hy wood makes no sense to me. The thing I love about the hybrid is the shorter shaft. Not the smaller head. And the thing I love about the 3 wood is the longer distance but I seriously avoid it because the longer shaft makes the bigger head just as hard to connect to center. So why oh why won’t they make a hy wood that had the shorter shaft and the bigger wood head

    • @jbweezer
      @jbweezer Před 4 měsíci

      I agree for the same reasons. So I gave my Hy-wood to my golf buddy who refuses to ditch his long irons even as a slow swinging senior. I put a lighter shaft in it for him. Im going full hybrids this season instead of the hywoood which I feel you still need to hit more like a wood off the deck than a hybrid. It had a hot face so I didn't mind it off a tee, but I didn't get the versatility out of it that I wanted. I mostly chalk this up to the longer shaft and I can launch hybrids but not fairway woods off the deck. I think for a certain type of swing it could be a real gem. Also, last year's hywood was matte and looked loads better.
