That's so many angel i would love to have an angelfish with coral too.I have heard to many people said it will nip at your coral but this reef aquarium look fine.
Wow! Heavy loaded indeed. I have heard before a solution to territory issues with those kinds of fish is over stocking. This example proves it can be done. Thought those angels nip at coral so it makes sense the coral isn’t really their main feature.
It’s definitely an example of what can be done if you put your mind to it! The fish are all fit, fat and happy, no aggression and they don’t bother the coral. 😊
With all those fish what are you using for removal of nitrates and po4? I cant imagine the skimmers doing all that. Are you dosing nopox, gfo??? Reson for me asking is I just setup an 800 gallon tank and am planning on a heavy bio load. I do have a large 75 gallon refuge to help with the load. I bet you have to really stay on top of your game with this tank to keep it in check. Beautiful fish! Amazing looking tank and great selection of fish. Best- Steve
Those skimmers Thomas has on the tank are huge, and one half of the return goes straight into the skimmer. Thomas also runs a refugium and does fortnightly water changes. Thomas also uses NoPox.
how big is tank . im adding a regal angel to emperor angel 215 gallon. already have yellow tang , porcupine puffer, emperor angel , gob blue hippo yellow belly, hippo regal blue, wraese , fox face purple and naso tang . adding purple tang , sailfin tang , another yellow belly hippo, blue eyed yellow lemon tang at same time as i add the regal angel.
From memory it’s an 8’ tank, but it should be in the video. Please bear in mind his has a huge UV steriliser and has had Ich 5 times before. This sort of set up is for the experienced.

It also doesnt matter how many hetero males are in the hobby. It doesnt need any representation whatsoever. if u are putting more coral in quarantine u cant put another in tank . eveyrtime u add another coral your adding another parasite to your quarantine tank

Next to no nipping... with feeds 5 times a day, they are never hungry 😋
You guys said he battled ich 4 to 5 times And looks to great success what is he doing to battle it That's a must know
He tore down the tank completely and introduced a fish and coral quarantine program, he hasn’t had ich since 😊
