It's getting there! We had a cold snap (down into the 30s a couple nights) that really slowed it down but it should keep getting better the longer the days get.
My St.Aug here in Jacksonville is starting to check out a little getting thin. Can't wait for spring. Let us know how you do with the torpedo grass in the Bermuda.

Hey Brett, what made you go w the grooved roller? Just got my 1st reel and need to decide be smooth and grooved
I prefer the grooved roller because I feel like it doesn't flatten the grass too much and allows for a better cut.

Yes it will need leveling for sure. That's the cost of not being the best skid steer driver haha

I mowed at a little over 3/4" we'll see where it ends up but I'm thinking around .6 or .65"

this guy's lawn is blotchy .needs to use tiller twice then smooth it out flat apply a layer of fresh new dirt then new grass to make it all green and perfect as well.common sense why using a good reel lawn mowers over an ugly blotchy grass?
This lawn is literally a month old. That's what we did when we laid the sod. If it was warmer here it would be very evenly colored but its the winter and the Temps fluctuate and have gotten into the 30s a couple times. Come back and pop in in another couple months and it will be filled in and even.
