Austins performance in O Holy Night is what got me hooked on Home Free. Every time I hear one of these guys sing a solo I think, "he's got the best voice"! lol They are ALL so good!! Having so many great voices in one group is amazing.

To hear Rob Lundquist (guy with the glasses) Listen to "Blue Ain't Your Color", it's an amazing song by the way....Austin Brown is their high tenor and man can he wail! They have many live versions of him singing "Bring Him Home" from Les Miserables, here is the link to one of them, czcams.com/video/gK4KKqC29-o/video.html , you don't have to react to the live video, just for your enjoyment! Thanks! Very Happy Patron here..... ;)

I love your reactions. Home Free reminds me so much of the "all day singing and dinner on the ground" Sundays in my church. We had gospel groups singers in the sanctuary and food brought from home in the kitchen and overflow outside on blankets. Singers would sell their records in the vestibule.. Don't know if that's a Southern thing. I was born and raised in Georgia.

You guys are the best :). The high tenors name you are trying to think of is Austin Brown. He’s amazing. I second Terry’s suggestion for “Blue Ain’t Your Color” for featuring Rob Lundquist (guy with beard and glasses) OR “Colder Weather” (there is a live and studio version of this. I prefer the studio personally, but both are good). “Colder Weather” is probably my favorite one they have done and Rob leads in it.

Love your reaction, you've become my favorite reactors. Hightenor is Austin. The guy in glasses are Rob. In "Blue Ain't Your Color" you can really enjoy his angelic voice, that is the first one on my mind. Then there's "9 to 5", funny one. The only way I can describe their music, is that they're HomeFree..just Home Free, a catergory of their own. 5 soo talented guys one by one, but together magic! Looking forward to your next HomeFree reaction ❤

Let's talk about great music! I just love watching you both react to them. The tenor with the glasses who has the voice of an angel and the beard of a real man is Rob Lundquist. If you want to see his best solo I'd recommend "9 to 5" LIVE. You get a treat. Also, when you guys get a chance you'll have to see them live. Bring your dad Marco. They're amazing live, especially Adam Rupp's drum solo, which I hope you'll do a reaction to soon.

One video will give you all that. "Do You Hear What I Hear" is an arranging tour de force by beatboxer Adam Rupp. Rob comes forward. Tim does his Tim thing. Austin Brown is the high tenor. I guess we all like Tim's voice because it is a unique bass. He can go low, but just the way he sings gives me the shivers. On the outro, "Can't Stop The Feeling" was playing that's a good "feel good" song to react to. They break down their sounds as to who is making which sound in the video during the song! "Blue Aint Your Color" is a song Rob ( glasses) Leads so well, but Chance (baritone) has a part in it where he sings solo as well so you will want to check that out too.

"Everybody" remembers Tim!! LOL!! Obviously for his incredible bass, but also becuz of his sharp & quick wit, & his love for teasing "everybody" - nobody is immune, & the fans love him for it! He teases the other guys, the fans in the audience every show, & makes fun of himself as well. He can get away with most anything!! He actually read a full version of Dr Seuss', "Sam I Am" one night!! Crazy dude! LOL!! You should check out some of the videos of "Story Time With Tim" or "Poetry Time (or Poetry Corner, etc) With Tim"! Not for reactions; just for your own fun. His story times are usually something funny that happened while on tour. -- As for Rob... Yes, do "Blue Ain't Your Color". Great video!! Loved the reaction, Guys!! • @Husitka
    @Husitka Před 6 lety +30

To me, Home Free is the only group (that I've heard) where I enjoy and love all the individual voices. Every HF member is an amazing vocalist on their own, but the true magic happens when these beautiful voices start singing together. And I agree that their arrangements feel really unique, just like their overall sound and style. I've said it before and I'm going to say it again: I think HF's sound transcends their 'country' label and is really difficult to describe. I believe the only category that does their sound justice is 'Home Free'. Their sound just combines too many different styles and influences to be just 'country', just 'pop', or to fit any other genre easily.
I also agree that their music always cheers me up. Their musical direction changed slightly with their latest album (not as many lighthearted songs as before; more 'adult', serious songs instead), but their music still has the same effect on me so I'm ok with this change. Even more so because they mentioned during our VIP that this new direction seems to be working for them and that they're finally getting some peer recognition with this latest album and direction, too.
And last, but not least, the guys' names for your convenience, guys: Austin Brown (high tenor), Adam Chance (baritone / occasional bass), Tim Foust (bass / occasional baritone and tenor harmonies), Rob Lundquist (tenor) and Adam Rupp (beatboxer / very occasional tenor).
For more *Rob* - *Blue Ain't Your Color* (awesome video, too) , for more *Austin* - *I Like The Sound Of That* (but I think reactors had problems with that specific song, so editing might be needed with that one), for more *Chance* - *I Can't Outrun You* (Chance directed the video, too), for more *Adam* - *one of his drum solo videos* and for more *Tim* - *Sound Of Silence* (with Peter Hollens).

Why is everyone forgetting Honey I'm Good for Rob's solo? lol but I'd have to agree that Blue ain't Your color would be my first choice for a reaction video. There is something crystalline clear about Rob's voice. You are right each of the guys has an amazing voice but together it's a little piece of heaven. As far as their arrangements lately they have been done by Darren Rust or Darren and Tim. In their earlier videos, it was Chris Rupp ( the member who left to pursue a solo career) and or Tim. Darren has a very subtle way of changing arrangements to make what I call that "HOME FREE SOUND". Country but not entirely. It's so hard to put it into words.

I love watching your reactions to these guys. Individually their talent is untouchable, but together...their harmonies are so hard to beat. Rob, the guy with the full beard takes the lead in 'Blue Ain't Your Color. Austin, the high tenor is the skinny blonde guy does a classic "Take Him Home", which is fantastic. Chance, their Baritone guy steps into the lead on "I Can't Out Run You", but you really need to check out "In The Blood" Tim sings the lead in that one, but Chance and Rob step in with their own leads on that one, and it's so chilling. And Adam, the beatboxer is one of THE BEST there ever was. You should check out his live concert solo sometime. You will be so amazed at the drum sound and the many different tempo's he can do, with nothing more than his mouth.

Know you’ve already done Tim’s vocal range, but how about the whole group’s vocal range? There is a video that showcases every single member’s range in the group. Search Home Free Vocal Range and I’m sure you can find it.
Also ya Blue Ain’t Your Color is amazing. Showcases both Rob and Chance very well. Definitely I Can’t Outrun You. Chance is AMAZING in that song.
You may not know this, but when Tim sings lead (including in this song), Chance doubles as a bass and he is GOOD you guys. He is the former bass for another acapella group, Street Corner Symphony. There is also a video out there showing his vocal range. Just search Adam Chance Vocal Range. Also a very amusing video in places.

‘Blue Ain’t Your Color’. Rob is the guy with beard and glasses. He does 98% of the solo on this song (a Keith Urban cover). The other guy with the beard and the baseball cap is the newest member, Adam Chance. He is known as Chance, because the beat boxer is Adam Rupp. Chance does one verse in ‘Blue Ain’t Your Color’. ‘Castle on the hill’ has a longer solo for Chance. And by the way. Chance is a baritone-bass. I LOVE his voice. He’s a great addition!

For more Rob goodness check out their version of Jason Mraz’s I’m Yours. It’s from around 2010, before Austin joined the group. There’s no video, but it sounds amazing. Plus it was recorded live at one of their concerts.

All you need to do is buy their CD's & die a little bit with each song. Learn the words and SING.
    I Love them, too.
The gent in the glasses is Adam Chance. He's the replacement for Chris Rupp. Baritone who can sing bass when Tim is taking the lead.
In The Blood, he sings a verse. Try Everything, he sings a bit solo.
    Thank,
    Mindy

Yeah I know. I wear glasses, but not for everything, just reading and coloring.
Pentatonix, they have glasses that they don't wear all the time. Maybe they've gotten contacts.
