Ulting at the end of his turn gives his ult more damage, but saving his ult till his next turn and using it before using his enhanced basic buffs the enhanced basic.
The basic has higher scaling so, damage wise, you wanna save the ult for the beginning of his next turn (or anytime after his current turn, the buff carries into the next turn). This way you also get energy towards his next ult.
Tldr you rarely want to use the enhanced basic while the ult is available, ult first then basic
Only for E0 an E1, for E2 Ult gives advanace forward so if you ult on the beginning of his next turn you wasting a full turn, as you can echnaced basic - ult - enchased basic with E2 , if you ult before you only get ult - enchased basic, way less damage

Above E2: BA3 -> ult -> BA3
@@bachkhoi9450 yup yup, also for e0 to E1, and maybe e2 later in the fight, don't be afraid to ult before your turn actually comes. E0 and e1 the damage ramp buff carries over to the next turn as long as you use the ult after the previous turn.
For e2 the buff carrying over wouldn't matter since you get a free turn but I'd still recommend ulting before your turn to steal extra turns

I joined HSR for dan heng (4 star) and now hsr team gifted us a 5 star version of him, i am beyondddd happy. This is probably the best patch of my life!
His e2 is literlaly better than most 5 star e6

I have him C0 on the sim universe LC and he already outdamages my Seele and pretty much matches my Kafka. So happy one of my favorite characters is so strong.
and the funny thing is Ting yun and Pela is one of his optimal supports for his hypercarry build which is ridiculous
this man is INSANE i'm still maxing his traces (it's at 5 4 5 5 right now) and he's already doing 300k damage at E0S1...my best investment so far tbh

I already figured IL is a nuke bomb even before he got released. The fact that he uses 3 skill points means he is capable of a truckload of damage. Now I think I need to pull for him given that I have Luocha and an E6 Tingyun. Looks like I will have to use my bank for Jingliu.

Could someone please explain the calculation for the atk -> ult -> atk -> ult -> atk rotation? I could understand after the first ult + tingyun there is 56.97 energy [5 x 1.394+50]. How does another atk + kill generate 83.03 energy? Normally atk + kill would only generate 50 energy. Going from 50 to 83.03 would mean ERR = 166.06%, which I don't think is possible. Am I missing something?

Idk, when they said "ULT first", at e4 you can Basic, and then ult, and then you can basic again? I feel like that might be better but maybe i'm dumb.
e2 you can do that, but e4 makes it so that his stacking buffs last an extra turn. at e0 its better to ult and then skill, but with e 4, its way better to basic then e2 to get back turn and then basic again because you keep all the previous stacks

My DHIL with S1 Herta and only 94% crit dmg dealt 120k with Tingyun buff and SW DEF shred. Dude's broken lmao
I have E0 S5 Herta LC Imbibitor and he did 128k with a shitty build (55%-138% Crit). He's literally insane.
I'm currently running him with Luocha, Silver Wolf and E6 Tingyun.
Can anyone explain how to proc that “outroar” passive. When I use fulgurant leap it doesn’t show in the buff list.
If you still need help, the buff only lasts for one turn, meaning, that at the end of the turn you use fulgurant leap, it goes away. In other words, the buff only applies to the last hits of fulgurant leap. That is, unless you have E4 which makes the stacks last 1 turn more, meaning that the buff lasts enough for the next attack
Why does the eidolons say max lvl15 yet it only goes up to 12 . Basic too max 10 yet only up to 7?

Atk boots is def the way. Remember kids, nukers and burst dps in anygame, you prioritize base dmg and multipliers in this case crit value. Why go twice when you can one shot things? That’s mentally ill
Going twice makes sense for other characters since they are ult orientated but he only needs his BA and SP

You can for 121 or 134 SPD breakpoints, then your supports go above 140+ SPD. You can manage his SP economy when your team is fast and SP positive.

Newsflash. HSR isn't a moba nor an MMO. This is a turn based RPG, where getting more turns is way more powerful than damage. More turns = more damage = more SP generation for supports. Simple as that.

Dan Heng IL to me isnt very friendly to F2P players and new players just because he is so restricted to about 2-3 teams because of his skill point reliance. Insane damage but he is basically for whales that can use him at full potential.
That’s too max out his dmg but even with mediocre relic and sub optimal team he is doing way more dmg than any other dps with the same investment, just slap in tingyun pela/asta and a healer and he’s good to go
I dunno I do think he's f2p friendly but with a limited team. Tingyun, Pela, Dan Heng and Natasha or Lynx and you have a f2p team as you don't need E6 Tingyun, E6 Yukong, Luocha etc to clear MoC

@@AraYuannn That too, Tingyun is a absolute must with him. One of the things I mean about being restricted to specific teams. Maybe players already playing have a tingyun but new players coming in this patch don’t so he won’t be as effective.

Skipping for Fu Xuan. I don't play/pull for high dmg characters. I pull them cause they are good in terms of animation. I only play female characters all of my male characters are lvl 1 lol.
You're my literal opposite I play for high damage and cool ults, but I refuse to pull for waifus (went without a healer until luocha). I'm glad I have husbando DPS options that work as well or even better than seel. Looks like hsr is a pretty good game if it can cater to both our tastes
