Thanks Mariana! This video and older ones with Greg really helped us. We signed up with Greg a year ago and just renewed. Lakeside Medical has been awesome to work with. We live close by the main clinic in the Ajijic area. The staff are very responsive and getting an appt is no problem. The doctors spends quality time with us and are fully bilingual. Highly recommended!

Janice was my Neighbor in San Carlos. I was shocked to hear of her death when it happened and was asked by our landlord to help with her belongings. Again hearing her story was shocked to her others knew of her. Did anyone finally locate her son? Rest in Peace Janice

Very informative, thanks! They take Alberta Blue Cross, but keep in mind the max. duration you are away for your policy coverage.

Thank you so much for this video! It has helped so much in my move to Mexico. I wrote to Greg and he has been a real help in this process. The medical part was such a big part of my stress. I feel much better having this part sorted out.

The problem with yearly travel medical is when your policy ends and you take out a policy for the next year, any medical problems you might have had the year before are now all pre-existing. If you have a serious problem it gets treated during that year but no treatment going forward. Not an ideal situation as we age.

Around minute 28:37, Greg says that the Global Underwriters plan (that he personally uses) requires clients to return to the US every three years - such that if you are the type of person who does not want to return to the US, then Lakeside Medical is not for you… “unless you have a Medicare Advantage plan”. Does this mean that, if you have a Medicare Advantage plan, you do not need to go back to the US, in order to keep your Medicare Advantage coverage? (🤞) Thanks again and again!

Thanks for another great video! Did Greg change his personal insurance from Atlas to Global Underwriters or are they the same company? The Atlas plan from his previous two CZcams videos sounded great (with medical evacuations included, 250K or maybe even more of coverage for someone under 65, etc.). Is the Atlas plan from the last two videos still available (as previously described)? Thanks, so much!

I’m struggling with the buffering on this stream. This is interesting but I’ll do some research on my own using the clues you provided.

Great video as always. Did you post the list of Lakeside affiliated hospitals? I’m considering Merida and San Miguel De Allende, but I wanted to know what medical facilities are associated with Lakeside.

I moved to Mexico…when you say “return to U.S. every three years” for the medical travel plans is there a set length of time?

I don’t see the hospital name for the Cabo area on the Lakeside website. I see Todos Santos. What is the Cabo hospital name?

Haven't watched the video. Just read the comments and many haven't even been replied to. That is discouraging. One would think that if they wanted to display that they were providing a good product and information, there would be some more replies to the questions. I'll pass.
