It is so true. When I discover with friends a park , a mountain trail, a biking route, I can't wait to tell my family and other close friends to check it out. So most of the time I ended going to that place many times with different groups of friend, as me the guide. Hahahaha!

Ellen White had so many failed “prophecies” it’s not even funny. Believe me, I’m well aware of all the apologetics for the failed ones too and it’s pathetic and takes unbelievable credulity to believe it.

Why do you refer to the earth as in chaos before creation? Nothing in God’s universe is in chaos to my mind. It was without form and void seems to mean it was empty and without form as in water or gas. So God gave it a form and separated the waters that was already there. No chaos mentioned. How could there be in God’s perfect universe?

Thank you for being vulnerable and display your ignorance, most people won't.
To help you understand let me put it this way:
"Without form and void" and God brings order: means God put together A planned structure and multiple systems that works in harmony to nurture life and ultimately human flourishing.
Now saying your on the 6th day and from retrospect, take away all the previous 5 days of creation and ask your self this; 'can man survive?'
      No land formations
      No vegetation
      No sunlight
      No beauty
      No air composition
      Etc....
I don't know bout you but for me that's CHAOS RIGHT THERE!

You talked a lot about sex being great because it brings life and then you talked a lot about successful marriages. This makes me think I’m just cursed. I can’t have children and even though my husband and I married as Christians in the SDA Church, and although it was his second marriage, it was my first, 8-9 years in, our marriage has not been successful. He is no longer a Christian, wants nothing to do w/ God, mocks me for my beliefs. Sex is rare and when we do, it’s not very enjoyable for me. What did I do wrong and what can I do to fix it? Prayer isn’t working.

Because the church is in bed with the government and they don’t want to lose their precious 501(c)3 status. That’s why every Protestant church isn’t against the mandate. It’s a shame that our church isn’t speaking against it. Here’s a quote from Ellen White that is quite mind blowing.
“The whole heathen world will rise up in judgment against those whom heaven has favored
the most, but who have placed themselves on Satan's side, and worked in his lines to bring
their soul-destroying narcotics to foreign lands, to pollute and destroy the heathen nations
with their defiling and health-destroying drugs. For the sake of a revenue, a professedly
Christian nation have forced their traffic upon the heathen nations at the point of the sword,
and thus compelled them to accept their merchandise, which would in using degrade the
people below the level of the brute creation.” Manuscript Releases, Vol. 3, 341

And not to mention that if a pastor preaches against it, they’ll probably be fired since that is not the official stance of the church. This is my personal opinion though, not fact. But it makes sense that the corporate church pastors will not speak against it, but it’s okay for the churches to have others come in and speak against the jab and the dangers that it can cause.

I've enjoyed David's ministry for many years. It appears, however, he's using human arguments that twist the Scriptures in this sermon to make it say something that it really doesn't. Anytime one has to extensively quote from another man's work, be sure that they have wandered away from the simplicity of the Word.

@C.D. Martins I’m not referring to David using the Spirit of Prophecy. Instead, the way he uses other theologians outside our denomination to buttress his arguments is not how our pioneers tried to win people to the Advent message.

@C.D. Martins You state the obvious. I’m not talking about fallibility or infallibility, I’m talking about the way a man preaches. Some use the holy Scriptures to prove their points and some use the arguments of fallible man.

I would agree with you that it’s bad for a preacher to quote men more than scripture IF they are departing from what scripture says. But you haven’t demonstrated how that’s the case here. Quoting a theologian who has intimate knowledge of the original language and has done extensive research into a biblical subject in order to shine a light on a topic of scripture can be a good thing if it reveals what’s written in scripture more clearly. My personal opinion is that the latter has taken place in this sermon. Excellent sermon David!
