I heard this song when they were on AGt and I thought it was beautiful but it took on a whole new meaning when my mom died
@@Chi-town1369 My daddy died in 2001 so when I heard them sing this on AGT, I thought of him. Then that line literally took my breath.
That line and the line "Each breath getting harder, I can hear the tears coming from my daughter." I can never hear that without a sob tearing from my throat.
Another song from them that is incredible is Lifeline. They are underrated with a few songs that are truly sad and beautiful
It’s such a gorgeous song and they’re incredibly talented that it just gets me right in the feels every time. If you haven’t heard it yet, Chevel Shepherd’s “The Letter” is another song that’s absolutely beautiful despite dealing with a similar subject matter

The line as death rattle my cage. Right before death we make this rattle sound. Its a sound once you hear it the sound sticks with you. You know the end is very close. I could almost feel heaven right there with us.
I’m with u fu$k cancer…lost my father to brain cancer along with my cousin to cancer as well…been more then 10 years but there are days when it feels like it was just yesterday.
Lifeline, Secrets, Machine, Superman, and Half-Hearted are a few of their really good songs.
I love literally all of their songs but Machine has really been up there for me recently 👌🏻👌🏻 lifeline and half hearted will always be my favourites tho ☺️

Wow this one hit me hard. I lost my mom to cancer 12 yrs ago and it still hurts today. I often find myself wanting to call her about something the kids or grandkids did. Cancer sucks.
