Nice setup. Really nice. Thanks for sharing.
Robert CairnsThanks. That’s an old setup. I’ve upgraded from that clunky Sightmark. ;)
Yeah, we too are Buckmark owners and now, I'm looking to do the same but with a Buckmark Hunter 7/14 threaded down to 6" or 5.5 inches. The Ruger is nice, but a bit of a pain to clean.
Your pistol is nicely tricked out!
The red dot is a Sightmark. I didn't really like it and replaced it with a Burris Fastfire. The grip is a Hogue 1911 grip. The adapter plates are from Rusty22.com.
@jah2mail Actually, it's held up pretty well. I'd like to replace it one day, but it's serving the purpose perfectly at the moment. Have any suggestions?
You say you had the barrel shortend. Does that allow you to shoot 1200fps ammo as subsonic or are you using subsonic ammo?
I can use 120fps ammo as subsonic with the barrel shortened. Typically barrel lengths shorter than 5" will allow HV ammo to stay subsonic.
Here's my 10/22 with a shorter barrel. Notice no sonic crack. I'm running CCI Blazer.

How much did that entire setup cost you in the end. I ask, because I wanted to build the exact same setup. (with a bunch of extra clips.). But when I added it all up it was coming out to be nearly a thousand bucks for nothing but a 22 pistol, which seemed insane to me.
pffft Traded the Ruger for the Buckmark and couldn't be happier.
Trying to find a laser for this gun, do you know of any?
What the name of the red dot sights and problems and what a bout the ruber grips are they the 1911 stlye one s please reply I have the same gun I would like to make it like your set up
Wow is that for the camper ufx?
i just got my buckmark stock basic. about to pimp out..
+DeltaForce Reviews Stock is a blast, but so is all tweaked. I'd like to do some trigger work on this one.
How much would you charge to make a duplicate (except the panels should be black)?
There's not really anything to "making one."
I can show you where I bought everything. Putting it together is very simple.
If that silencer was a bit thicker it could be half as long.
srspower True, but then you'd start looking at needing to raise the sights for irons.
ROBOCOP gave this gun a thumbs up. Said MORE AMMO
Post a video of you shooting it indoors or in an enclosed space or yard, with the camera aimed from down range at the gun, not from where you are standing which doesn't count worth sh it for a silencer video. You want to measure the silencer from the place where the target would hear it, not behind the gun where you are standing (where most idiots make their silencer videos from). The sound is being thrown down range, not behind the gun. Der.
CHOPPERGIRL AIRWAR a bit late to the party and hopefully you've grown up, assuming the suppressor is for other people downrange is a leap. I'd bet your next paycheck most do it for the shooters benefit. No ear protection and no ear damage
In love with those grip adapters.
+John Cashell I have really enjoyed them.
