    iOS user here - another great video Matthew. I used to do a lot of timelapse videos a few years back and, having got the bug again, I have been binge watching your videos (and downloaded the free book!). I have downloaded the Skyflow app and will definitely give it a try when over the next coup,e of weeks. I was very interested to see that it can shoot below 1 second - and I really like the effect this can give.

    • @direkta
      @direkta Před rokem +2

      Skyflow is awsome!! It let you save raw files and also work with DJI mobile gimbal so you can have motion controlled timelapses and it even let you set starting focus point and end focus point so you can have a timelapse with focus pulling (not sure it’s the right name for it😂) great app!
      Thanks for a great video 🙏

    Matt, great video as always. I have an iPhone 11 Pro. I've played around with the Motion app and it is pretty cool. It has a timelapse mode and offers a lot of control over the camera: interval; lens; 4k resolution; ISO; shutter speed; & white balance. Have a look and keep the videos coming.

    • @MatthewVandeputte
      @MatthewVandeputte  Před rokem

      I can't get high resolution exports from that app sadly! It's capped at something like 1400 pixels

    • @ubassman
      @ubassman Před rokem

      @@MatthewVandeputte Hmm, that is strange. I shot some Timelapse's using the app and my iPhone 11 back in November from a building overlooking Central Park in NYC. I was just able to export one at 4k to my MacBook using Airdrop. It dropped into my Downloads folder and when I open in the QuickTime Player it shows a resolution of 3840 × 2160. Was just able to Airdrop a second one at 4k. From the export screen I'm choosing h264, 4k, standard (bitrate), 30 fps.

    How do i stop it from going so fast? I’m currently filming another 1 month timelapse during autumn and i need some help with it, i need it to be slower.

    hello, you mentioned in your video that frames are removed in iPhone time-lapse. Would you recommend a time-lapse recording for jigsaw puzzle assembling?
    2nd, would you recommend recording the jigsaw puzzle assembling in time-lapse, or in normal video speed and just saving it at different faster playback speed rates in post-editing?
